I think everybody needs to step back and realize that this isn't just any player making these comments here. This is Reggie Miller who is one of the biggest trash talkers to ever play the game. He has a mouth like no other. Reggie is trying to get under people's skin and tick them off. Personally for me the more people run their mouths, the better I play.
Players should only speak to the media regarding the games they just played. They seem to run their mouths too much which could get them in trouble
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting airforce1s:</div><div class="quote_post">the MDE doesnt like Reggie cuz he beat the crap out of your boy kobe</div> LOL. Notice by my username that Kobe isn't my "boy." And Reggie didn't beat up Kobe. I think Kobe actually won that fight. Since Reggie can't punch he head-tackled KB. Anyways, I hate Reggie cuz he is a skinny twerp that complains to the refs, flops, whines, etc. You get the point! :thumbsdow
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting airforce1s:</div><div class="quote_post">I was kidding. I never even saw the fight</div> Oh okay. Then why did you even post that? :laugh
I still respect Reggie, he can say whatever he wants but it was stupid. Being loyal doesn't always get you a ring though...
Allnet shut ur mouth , please be quite , i am tired of you disrespecting these guys for something you know nothing about first the Kwame Brown situation now this, you are a lil punk, leave Reggie alone
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sunsfan1357:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't get it...why do players owe teams? Especially in Malone's case when he gave all he had for something close to 18 years despite not getting along with management. What does he owe the team? Why do players have to show loyalty when the upper management is usually the first one get rid of a player when something better comes by?</div> i dunno...it just seems kinda cheezy to me, to spend your entire career with one team, then jump ship to complete a stacked team just to get a ring...it doesnt seem the same to me as playing and winning with "your" team. i guess technically he doesnt owe the jazz anything, but hell probably win a ring this year, then retire...and a few years down the road, will you think of malone the retired jazz legend? or the retired lakers legend?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">and a few years down the road, will you think of malone the retired jazz legend? or the retired lakers legend?</div> Jazz legend easy. Every basketball fan will also remember him for that too. Of course they will point to the ring he may or may not get, but going on his career everyone will remember him as the guy who spent 18 years with the Jazz and gave everything he had.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting the MDE:</div><div class="quote_post">How is playing 30-35 minutes a game bandwagoning? Reggie's reasoning is flawed. What I don't get is why people say the Lakers aren't the best team or aren't going to win, yet when a player like Malone joins them they call them bandwagoners. How can you be a bandwagoner if you aren't gonna win supposedly? What is Regina gonna tell his kids? I was a great player and was loyal, but I was a big loser. </div> His statement had nothing stating their minutes in-game, he's talking about their team-hopping antics. And if you think Reggie is a "big loser," you obviously don't watch games that often.
