Nice addition for the Magic. Rafaer is definately a servicable PG, and will be an instant favorite of the fans. Lue, Gaines, and Alston will be a good 3 man rotation for the Magic.
very nice pick-up. he will be a very good backup/starter. i think he would start at the beginning and bring lue and gaines off the bench at the beginning of the season until gaines takes over starting.
Hard to say.... I watched Raefer play last year with the Raps. He is excellent getting into the lanes, but needs to play in a fast paced offense. You get him into a half court set where he needs to use his jump shot, and things get a bit shaky. As a third guard, it's not bad. Plus his salary will be minimal. Not a bad signing if the Magic decide to go that way.
Interesting, thats good for Rafer. It's a very good pick up for the Magic. IF only the raptors kept him...
Nice potential pick-up for the Magic. He will be a good back-up for them. I agree that I am really hesitant about having him play in a half-court set offense. This addition is also a good PR move. Adding Raef will definelty help put people in the seats at the games. People like to watch him play.
