13 points and 5 boards in 17 minutes for team USA v the virgin islands - i know they're not exactly a basketball powerhouse but as the rookie on team USA that'll do his confidence wonders
yeah, hopefully he can somehow be effective against the nba, but i personally don't see that happening.
I think his rookie season he'll average 10ppg 7rpg. I think his rebounding is the best part of his game, in the final (Syracuse vs. Kansas) he put up 19pts and 21reb I think. The reason why I think he will do well in his rookie season is because Seattle isn't a powerhouse team, and he can really help them with his rebounding skills.
yeah 19 and 21 in the title game. his rebounding is the most polished part of his game i agree and that will be his strength, he has some nice post moves but i think he'll probly struggle in terms of scoring on power forwards in the west as he starts out, but by all accounts he's a good kid and willing to learn
ll definetely get a lot of rebounds. Do you guys remember Reggie Evans from this year...he had pretty decent 'mounts of rebounds...about 7pg? hmmm.
Allen Iverson recently said how impressed he was with Collison and is his pick for rookie of the year..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ben:</div><div class="quote_post">Probably 'coz Collison was next to him or was listening to the interview.. =P</div> Nah AI said this after the final was over I think....AI wouldn't say something he didn't mean
Well that's cool then.. IMO, Nick is one of the favourites to win ROY, 'coz he played 4 years of college ball, so he should be more ready for NBA than many other early draft entries. However, he'll be going against other tough big men since he'll be playin' out in the West. Stilll, i expect a pretty solid first season from Collison.
