Weekly Grizzlies Top 10! (Week 1) Aside from updating the Buy or Sell every week, I will also post a Grizzlies Top Ten List. This week's list is the Top Ten Grizzlies Myths. The following are ten preconcieved notions about the Grizzlies that are not true. #4 - The "Drew Gooden Trade" was an awful trade for the Memphis Grizzlies. Although the results of this trade have yet to be seen, I think it was a good trade for the Grizzlies. Drew Gooden had nowhere to play in Memphis. Most of the time people are impressed with Gooden after looking at his stats in Orlando, but they fail to realize that Gooden would get half of those numbers if still in Memphis. Miller gives us a good second option and depth at Small Forward. #3 - Jason Williams is too flashy and worried about pleasing the crowd. This causes him to make stupid decisions and turn the ball over quite frequently. When Jason Williams came into the league he was immature and on drugs. Since he has come to Memphis and had a son he has put the pipe down and conrolled his game. Jason Williams is now second in the league in assist/turnover ratio. #2 - The Grizzlies have no chance of making the playoffs this season, they are in the tough West afterall. This is one of the most widely spread untrue myths. The Grizzlies can make the playoffs no matter what conference they are in. They have a decent backup for every one of their starters and then some. Coach Hubbie Brown can most likely find a way to squeeze by the Houston Rockets and Seattle Supersonics for the final seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. #1 - Michael Dickerson is going to come back and play whether he is in full shape or not. This rumor always gets on my nerves. Michael Dickerson is out for his career. The insurance company picked up the majority of his contract the other day when he limped off of the practice floor. 5 coming soon!!!!
When JWILL came to memphis they were improving every year. This year i expect them to battle for the 8 seed and i hope they make it becuase Warriors make some stupid moves so they drop out of the 8 seed so memphis have a better chance of making the playoffs now.

My guess is that Pheonix and Houston will slide in there(Phoenix might even make Portland drop down to the 7th seed). Memphis will have a tough road ahead to make the playoffs? Is it possible? Yes. Do I think it will happen? No. And don't come back with some stupid, Jason Williams is God crap. I am tired of your homerism(hey, a new word...). Even Spartanfan will admit their playoff chances are Bleek(Memphis Bleek.....God, I am corny).
Hey Lowe sucks as a coach they were 0-14 then after that Hubie took over and after the ALL STAR break they had a winning record . Thats the Facts. Have to LOVE HUBIE BROWN
