    G Quinton Ross signed a free-agent contract with the Clippers on Aug. 21. He averaged 20.3 points and 6.4 rebounds a game as a senior at Southern Methodist last season, and was named the WAC player of the year. He averaged 14.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 119 games during his college career with the Mustangs.
