<div class="quote_poster">Quoting purehoops:</div><div class="quote_post">of course you add TD... but there is no way in hell TDs passing ability, in any shape or form, is close to Garnett</div>
Did I say it was? Both KG and TD are good passing big men. KG is a better passing big man. The ones listed above him are better than that. Hence my list. [IMG]

you have TD right behind KG... TD doesnt deserve to be right behind KG in the passing lists (ie KG doesnt deserve to be right behind duncan on the blockin list)... KG has more passing ability, does it better (hence the #s), does it better lookin (even tho hes not the best)... its asham how you put duncan on every single one of your top 10/15 lists... TD is not that great of a passer, Shaq, Webber, KG are way better than him...

Then who do your propose goes between KG and Duncan? I know KG is a better passer than Duncan, but I think all the guys listed above him are better than he is. [IMG] Duncan is on the list because he can pass. Those triple doubles during the playoffs weren't an accident.

This is for one DIME droppers... thus style comes into play... last time I check Tim Duncan has the most boring style of play for a superstar in the NBA...

Players that pass better style wise AND stat wise include...

Karl Malone, everyone forgets this man still knows how to play, and does pass very well (4.7 apg)

Antione Walker, yea hes a point foward or a power guard, blah blah... the man seems to have a triple double each year (4.8apg)

Tim Duncan is 38th in the L in asists... KG is 13!!! HE IS 13!... that means he passes better than plenty more PGs in the L and he doesnt ge to control the ball as much...

Why is everyone so high on Iggy, the man averaged 1.7 apg last season... hmmm, not sayin he is the worst but I will take KGs numbers over him...

You dont care that Sabonis is retired? I guess hes gunna be passing from the stands huh?

No, Sabas is too good of a passer to leave off the list. I don't consider Walker a big man. He doesn't play like one, so I'm not putting him on my list.

    1. CWebb
    2. Vlade
    3. Shaq
    4. Yao
    5. Ilguaskis
    6. Sabonis (I don't care if he's retired)
    7. KG
    8. Malone
    9. Duncan
    There. I forgot Malone.

We're all "high on Iggy" because of his passing style. He's got the flash. I think it's a foreign, Lithuanian big man thing (k, just foreign big men). I'm not surprised he only averaged 1.7apg last season. He had no one to pass it to and his minutes are limited because of his foot problem.

why do rookies have to prove it in the NBA befor ethey can make a list like this? most fancy passes come on fast breaks or the open court, and u get them at any level of the game

Vlade is most definately not the best big man passer of all-time....he isn't even the best foreign big man passer of all-time....Arvydas was way ahead of him in the passing department...

Agree with Supersonic, no one mentioned a rookie exept from him, I go with LeBron and T.J at 8th and 9th or something. They are better than many others.

RAFER ALSTON....cant believe no one has mentioned him yet...ive seen him do some nice passes...rare in the NBA but nonetheless

Jason Williams....definetly....that elbow pass speaks for itself

    Jason Kidd....sick no look passes

Marbury....amazing passer....the 360 spin pass to Tsakalidis or w/e was off the hook...

Just to give you a reason for this:

This thread is over half a year old! This season hadn't even started at the time the last person wrote something in this thread (except LakerHoli... who brought this thread up).

Is bringing up old topics a new hobby here or why do so many user it these days?
