I don't think height matters much in this situation when we're talking about ability, because Brand is doing a fine job at PF. (Tyson's height & frame do allow him to play positions 3-5 though). I think it just wouldn't have worked with Brand and Eddy.

Exactly my point, Tyson can fill in at center if Eddy gets into foul trouble,(and he does alot),

First, it woudn't have been Curry and Brand. The Clippers were going to select Curry if we didn't trade Brand for Chandler. We did the trade in part, bec. we really wanted Curry. Chandler can play some center, but is idealy suited to play PF. He doesn't have the bulk to plaay center. A Chandler/Brand combo wouldn't have worked very well defensively on nights where we match up against offensive centers(Shaq, Miller, Ilgauskas, Ming, etc).

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">Tyson will be better, he is 7'1, (alot better than 6'8), Tyson is also much more athletic. I dont see a problem.</div>

Did you forget to mention he weighs like 220? Curry weighs about 275 or more and thats why he will be more dominant. Also Curry has great hands as Tyson does not. Curry has better moves that Tyson also. And Curry is not 6'8 Hes 6'11. I dont see any point in that comment. Just cause I guy is athletic means nothing. Eddie Robinson is athletic, whats your point? I dont agree with you.

Tyson has the potential to be a top 5 player in the NBA. If not, then likely a top 10. I dont think Brand can improve that much.

Um sorry i wasnt really reffering to Curry as 6'8, i was reffering to BRAND.
