Its not San Antonio's fault that there was a shortened season that year. No asterik is needed. They earned it, despite the short season, not bec. of it. Winning a championship is hard to do. There is nothing that San Antonio took advantage off that another team couldn't during that time; rest. If Los Angelas had won it that year, should there have been an asterik placed next to it? Nope. Bec. they would have earned it as well. Unless the NBA hands out a championship, no asterik will ever be needed.

How? Post some content behind your posts. Back them up. One liners are ok every now and then, but if you are trying to argue something, they don't work. MJ is the king becuase he made the nba. When jordan was playing almost evreyone was a bulls fan.He change the NBA he made it the most popular sport. Vintage, quality posts there. TD and Kobe play two totally different positions. IMO to be great you have to make your team win. Duncan has proved for 5 straight years that he can lead his team into the playoffs almost single handedly. MDe i haven't seen you at all give Duncan ANY credit what so ever on what he has accomplished. I also think you look at being great differently than most of us here do. ( that isn't an insult BTW)

There are reasons to make Tmac, KG, Duncan, Kobe, Shaq all the best player in the NBA depending on where you stand on ranking the best player... I might be bias but I could come up with several reasons why KG is the best player in the NBA... Regular seasons #s dont like... hell even last year playoff numbers dont lie... yes they didnt make it out last season... but they faced the best #5 seed in the history of the playoffs...
