These are mine 1. Shaquille O'Neal: Well it is Shaq, he is unstoppable, he will dominate the league again this year. 2. Kobe Bryant: Will still be Shaq's right-hand man this year, but will still be better than everyone else, just wait till he is by himself without Shaq. 3. Tim Duncan: Well I don't think he is the best player in the league, because he, IMO, just can't handle the other best players in the league, He can't guard KG, but KG can't guard Duncan, Duncan bearly even guarded Shaq in the playoffs, what kind of best player is that, he left Rose to guard Shaq.:thumbsdow Tied for 4th. Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady: Tough choice, just couldn't put one of them down at 5. 6. Allen Iverson: Plays with his heart, plus, just so dam fast. 7. Dirk Nowitzti: Great guard skills for a big men, can shoot 3, just not all that great defencive player, that is why at 7. 8. Paul Pierce: Best in the league at getting to the line and shows in his averages. 9. Jason Kidd: Best PG in the league right now, plus great at getting rebounds 4 his size. 10. Chris Webber: Would be in top 6 if he didn't get injured as much.

That left Duncan to guard Robert Horry and help out on Shaq.

The top six is pretty generic. Anyone could go anywhere - 1.Tim Duncan 1.Kevin Garnett 1.Tracy McGrady 1.Jason Kidd 1.Shaquille O'Neal 1.Kobe Bryant ------------------------------- Then you have - 7.Dirk Nowitzki 8.Paul Pierce 9.Allen Iverson 10.Elton Brand

If Webber is healthy though, he is the better player of the two, statistically and talent wise.
I'm waiting for Brand to make it to the playoffs before I add him to my top ten list. Being on the Clippers and Bulls hasn't gotten him any closer to the playoffs, but if he was top ten worthy, his teams would have been closer to that goal than they have been.
AI is soooooo underrated in these forums !! com'n ... he is a top 3 player.... and I think the supporting cast he has is worse than T-Mac's ... and look where he took 'em in 2001 ! the guy is just great !

It's not that Iverson is underrated It's that the players who are ranked above him are that damn good...Duncan,Shaq,KG all have amazing skills and can score better than AI now..but Iverson has the biggest heart in the NBA...along with being a great leader....As long as Iverson is on your team you will make the playoffs....Although AI has done much more than Mcgrady in his career..but T-mac is younger.....AI is still a former league MVP and took his team to the finals...He is no lower than 6th best in the NBA
My list- 1. KG 2. Kobe Bryant 3. Tim Duncan 4. Shaq 5. Tim Duncan 6. AI 7. Nowitzki 8. Jason Kidd 9. Chris Webber 10. Paul Pierce
winning is not everything, i thought we were talking about most skilled. Thats between Mac Man TD and The Big Tick.
My controversial order... 1.Duncan ...(lets be honest, the guy isnt flashy, but he is damn good.) 2.Tmac...(explosive,ruthless,and good all around game) 3.Shaq...(The big dog's bite is just too much) 4. AI...(Carrying Philly since he got there, all heart and plays everygame like his last) 5.Kobe...(He is great...but if you minus Shaq from the equation I wonder ..?) 6.J.Kidd...(C'mon,,you have to be an idiot not to see this..brings Jersey back to life and into the finals 2yrs in a row) 7.KG...(great player..but ranks 7th on my list) 8. Paul Pierce..(simply amazing) 9. Rasheed Wallace..(when his head is on straight, and he is focused, one of the best) 10. Steve Francis..(don't disagree, you know this guy is good) Not on the list--- Dirk (no defense), Webber ( He is good but without a supporting cast he would disappear), Elton Brand (Not star quality yet)
Let me try to put this in a non-rude way... Those people who dont have KG in at least top 5, can not honestly say they know a thing about basketball... Yea Im bias and whatever, but he has done more than enough to prove he is a top player in the NBA...

AI 5.Kobe ...Yes KG is great..but i think these players are better ( not by much ). I think its unfair to say that i know nothing about B'ball, its just my amateur opinion.

KG is young, and the freaky thing with him, Kobe, and T-mac is that they can all still improve!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting chickensoup:</div><div class="quote_post">So wut your trying to tell me is that KG is much better than any of these players.</div> No, but Im sayin hes right on there level... the stats dont lie, the playoff positioning doesnt lie, the #s in the playoffs dont lie... give the man credit...
