i agree with slamduncan here, except that it's just for the regular season. everyone expected that the spurs would get a home court advantage, but who thought that the twolves would get it? i think that is why i would've picked kg at mvp, but you absolutely cannot argue against duncan.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting slamduncan21:</div><div class="quote_post">Credible analysts have also said that other than Shaq, Duncan is the best player in the league. I don't see how you can have any more impact than winning a championship.</div> wtf are you talking about, I am talking about <u><font face="Arial Black"><font color="Green"><font size="3">REGULAR SEASON </font> </font> </font> </u> MVP... and your talkin botu championships... KG WAS THE REGULAR SEASON MVP... Quit twisting and changing the subject...
I wasn't talking about the MVP award. I was talking about impact and explaining why Duncan had more impact on the league than KG.

I have learned something very disturbing from this thread,, If your not on KG's jock then your opinion is meaningless. No one is saying he isnt great, we just all have different opinions on the matter.

How are people not giving KG credit? We all agree that he is amazing, but b/c we dont put him number 1, c'mon man your maturity has to kick in at some point. We all gave KG credit, and we all agree on his greatness, but we cant all see him in the same light, its called human nature and natural opinion. If you cant allow other people to have their opinions than what is the point of you posting on this board.

Noone said KG is #1, I have a hard time not putting Shaq and Tim Duncan at #1, to be honest it changes from day to day... 3. There is a difference in ackowledging greatness, then actually giving it... You say hes great, then how does he fall all the way to #7 on a list? You cant be serious... D. I have no problem with you sayin hes 7, Im not mad at you, maybe the sarcasim was a lil to far, I respect your opinion, otherwise I probably would just ignore your posts, or inslut your know how of the NBA... 5. I am letting you post your opinion, and then I am aguring it against it, thus continuing the tradition of a NBA forum
1. Tim Duncan - weather you like it or not most fundamental player in the leauge. 2. Kevin Garnett - Came in a close 2nd for MVP, good all around player. 3. Shaq - I hate him but hes here, by far the most dominate player in the leauge. If it wasnt for injuries, he would be #1. 4. Kobe Bryant - I dont know what hes going to do this year, with court and all, but ranked #2 in PPG, DD's and TD's. Tried his best to step up in Shaqs absence. 5. Jason Kidd - by far the best point guard in the game today. Hes help the Nets pull off what no East team has done since the Bulls era (Make the finals consective times) 6 Allen Iverson/Tracy McGrady - Plays with the most heart in the NBA. But now that both have the help they need, they might make it far in the playoffs. 8. Dirk Nowtizki - my boy, but hes down here because even though his defence is improving he isnt quite there yet, but hes moving on up. 9. Paul Pierce 10. Chris Webber
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Skip:</div><div class="quote_post">1. Shaq 2. KG 3. TD 4. T-Mac 5. Kidd 6. Kobe </div> How do you have T-mac @ #4 and Kobe behind Kidd when T-mac and Kobe post nearly the same stats. Playa hater?
I'm considering the fact that Kobe has Shaq Daddy by his side, T-Mac got nobody. As for Kidd, I think his impact on Nets speak for itself. Oh, and no "playa hater" going on here, or why would I put him on this list in the first place?
KG or KIDD should be #1 becuase they give u great def, points, reb, dimes, stls and they are great leaders. Kidd went to nets and they started to win when marbury was there they sucked. So i think that kidd should be on top
This thread has become so stupid..... lets all just become robotic and place KG at 1 and duncan at 2 and etc., then this thread will die......
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting chickensoup:</div><div class="quote_post">This thread has become so stupid..... lets all just become robotic and place KG at 1 and duncan at 2 and etc., then this thread will die......</div> Now you know why this "who is better than who" crap is so boring, biased, and repetitive. I am not saying that every member is that way, because all of you are not, but a very large % always will be.

This thread is pathetic and as is this site when you have people saying Kidd is the best player in the NBA. C'mon people..J-Kidd? His stats aren't even the best and he hasn't won anything! Shaq, Duncan, KG, Kobe, and T-mac are all better than Ason Kidd..
The argument that Kidd is better than Marbury is pointless too. Kidd's team won 2 games against the Spurs this year, as did Marbury's Suns. And look who Marbury had. If Marbury had the Nets I'm sure he would lead them to the Finals too. Look at the east competition..
u saying that marbury is better then kidd????????????LOL Look what effect did he have on martin and jefferson he made martin 1 of the best pf in east.
