Brady threw with a torn shoulder ALL SEASON...I never heard an excuse. Instead of McNabb being one of the human hype machines in the NFL he is turning into the human excuse machine. He has NO RECEIVERS he was hurt blah blah blah. I can't stand it. He is a very good leader and QB but not top 5 thats all I'm saying. He's just not that great and besides last season your defense was the reason teh eagles were in the NFC champ game the two years before. McNabb just got lucky that the NFC was a weak conference last year and the only real team he saw was Carolina in the playoffs and how did that work out? Green Bay had a solid offense but choked and their defense was a mess. Seattle should have been in that game.

As for the culpepper comparison I agree 2 years ago culpepper was a turnover machine and he does have randy moss. but he ran the ball better than McNabb did last season. So at least give him that. I do however think McNabb has better intangilbes than culpepper and a team that shows up for him at points on the other side of the ball. I'll give you McNabb over Culpepper any day just on the turnovers alone but if culpepper can continue to progress like last season he will be light years ahead of McNabb. Oh wait should I use the excuse that culpepper played with broken bones in his back all season?? Nah he doesn't need it he puts up better numbers anyways even if he missed two games.

my point about the broken finger was thats what caused his inaccuracy ealry in the season, and he overcame that when healty. 97 QB rating is good. He was tearing up the leage last year before his leg broke, Dallas had a great defense last year, mcnabb lit them up, same with Miami, NYG. he put up big points late in the season, ill give you stats wise hes not top 5, but the whole package he is.

Leon says, "My four fumbles wouldn't have been a problem if my teammates wouldn't have backed me up and jumped on the ball"

Sucks for Cullpepper than, i guess the 22fumbles/INTs or whatever it was just happened to be plays when Randy decided he needed a break and a play off

Cullpepper and Gannon are out of there. Gannon is done. Cullpepper may be tied with McNabb for doing about the same in their careers.

McNabb has potential to be top 5, and top 20 All Time, but rright now I'd say
    Manning
    Brady
    Favre
    McNair
    Hasselbeck
    Pennington
    McNabb
    Culpepper

Are you all kidding me. Or are you that knowledgeless about football. McNabb has been the only weapon Eagles have had for the last 4 years, and in those years they are
    11-5
    11-5
    12-4
    12-4

Thats a lot of games. I compare McNabb to Elway, neither one had great accuracy, or great players around them, but found ways to win. Yes, he has not won a Super Bowl. But, Pennington, Culpepper, Hasselbeck have yet to win a Playoff game, and Manning was in the same category until last year.

An Vick in by far the most overrate player in the NFL, for a guy that has done NOTHING he sure gets a lot of play.

By the way the eagles did have really good D the last four years and McNabb was injured for a lot of the games one of the seasons and was saved by his backups.

Thanks, our D sucked last year, and you still need to put points up. We had one good all around Defense of year, the year we lost to the giants in the second round. the run always killed us.

McNabb got hurt and backups saved him? yea right, McNabb missed 6 games, and we were in first when it happened, not to mention our D played amazing in that stretch.

Didn't Culpepper QB against New Orleans in January of '01? That was a playoff win.

Comparing Vick to Elway? Wow...I commend your fan loyalty. [IMG]
