<div class="quote_poster">Quoting allnet:</div><div class="quote_post">G..... Where shall I start? this could take all night pistons Hall of fame coach Great role players Hamilton a 20 point scorer Billups mr clutch and a big time scorer when he is on 2 time defending DPOY 2nd pick Campbell a true center Okur a good young euro player former 6th man of the year Now on to the Magic Mcgrady a top 5 player..amazing talent Howard..a true inside player..very consistant player Gooden a bright young player...future all-star Giricek good shooter Lue....a steady PG Celtics Pierce a superstar Walker you may hate him but he puts up very good all-round stats and is their leader Jones...a good role player Not that much..but they have the best duo in the east...thats enough Sixers AI,AI,AI,AI -enough said Bigdog..a 20 point scorer Kenny Thomas a good rebounder that can score Coleman-same as Thomas Snow..one of the best defensive PG's in the league Marc Jackson a good center... There is a quick recap who is better than Raptors...Asking what Pistons have that makes them so great was an interesting question....Only thing I can tell you is look at the standings the last two seasons....Raptors are not even with Magic..at all...They were better with just Mcgrady.. they add Howard..raps are not better for sure now...Sixers are better than Raptors as well....Not really close in terms of talent and players with the teams I have mentioned from Raps You need to learn that talent has changed from when the Raptors were in the playoffs..Other east teams have improved quite abit...So don't expect them to do too much</div>Celtics do nto have more talent. Our roster is as good as the sixers. I think our coach is better than the Sixers. I dont think the magic are alot better either. There weak at center and point guard.

Where's shapecity when you need him, someone who actually knows basketball and can explain why the raptors will make the playoffs if they're healthy. (i remember a while back he made a really good post on them making the playoffs)
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Plushlux:</div><div class="quote_post">I remember when the Raptors were locks for the playoffs last year...Anything can happen in 82 games</div> they were never locks/.

Sorry but remember when the pistons were not suppost to make th eplayoffs and finished second i think? No team in the east is but the Nets i would say are locks. Injuries can happen which happend to the Raps last year who broke the record.

Nets and Pistons are locks for the playoffs..anyone who knows about basketball will know this.Ask any NBA writer...
Pistons are not locks. Say Big Ben runs into rip and there tear there knees then there done. It most likely wont happen.

Raptors you are seriously underrating the Pistons if you don't think they'll make the playoffs. I think this lineup can make it to the playoffs: PG-Alvin Williams/Milt Palacio/Rick Brunson SG-Vince Carter/Michael Curry/Mo Peterson SF-Lamond Murray/Morris Peterson(may start)/Chris Jeffries PF-Antonio Davis/Chris Bosh/Jerome Williams/Jerome Moiso C-Michael Bradley/Antonio Davis/Jerome Williams/Jerome Moiso Pretty deep lineup, I included different people at different positions because a lot of the players are able to play more than one (as a backup). I didn't inlcude any FAs. I didn't even include the whole lineup. If Vince can stay healthy, they will make the playoffs, and when he has stayed healthy, they did make the playoffs. I started Michael Bradley at C because at the end of last season when he played, he did a great job rebounding, he had many games with 10+rebounds.
GO post in the Pistons forum(not directed at anyone). BTW i no a good amount about basketball. Anything can happen.

He was there because it was either him or JYD. Jerome Williams will never play center. If Ad and bradley start AD will be center. Moiso will be a starter or second string not a forth stringer/IR guy.

Anything can happen.</div> u probably know a lot about basketball but ur letting ur love of the raptors take over ur mind. i like the raptors too since i live in toronto but i am capable of understanding reality; the raptors are not getting into the playoffs unless something TOTALLY crazy happens. i could EASILY put 7 teams down that are CLEARLY better than the raptors. then i can list 3 more that are SLIGHTLY better than the raptors. that puts toronto 2 spots below the playoffs. my 7 teams can be agreed upon by ANY1 who knows about basketball. ppl might disagree with some of my 3 other teams but w/e. these teams r CLEARLY better than toronto (in no order): Hornets Nets Pistons Boston Philly Orlando Indiana these 3 are SLIGHTLY BETTER than toronto (nmo order): Wizards Bulls Knicks (with mcdyess, yall must have 4got him)

Txu grow up, the bulls aren't better yet, they're still a little young, I know in a couple years they could be 3rd in the east but I think next year is way to early for them to be making the playoffs.
