If the Wizards couldn't make the playoffs last year with the lineup they had, they're going to have a hard time doing it this year, especially if Vince gets in the way. BTW this is also available for discussion in the wizards forum, if you would like to talk about this from a Wizards perspective.
I think that Jarvis Hayes will turn out to be a good player and will crack the starting 5 by December. U all know what Stack and Arenas are capable of. Jefferies will look to redeem himself, plus without all the pressure from MJ Kwane should blossom this season. Washington will make the playoffs.

I think Raptor fans that say they wont make the playoffs, might be just a little frusterated with what has happened this past year. I'm sure once people can see the raptors in action again, especially a healthy Vince, they'll think otherwise.

Gilbert will only pick up where Jordan left off, averaging 19ppg and helping the team behind Stackhouse. As for Kwame, I can't predict what he can do but I don't think its going to be anything spectacular. Jared Jeffries and Juan Dixon will be looking for some playing time (this does not relate to kwames position) along with Kwame, with all three of them on the floor sharing the ball may become a little bit of a problem, due to disapointing seasons for all of them last year. I think Washington will do what they've done the last two years, fight for the eight spot, then come short of it at the end due to consecutive losses. If the Raptors can make the playoffs with a healthy Vince and a "not so great team" two or three years ago, then they should be able to squeeze into the eighth seed this year. I think Lamond Murray will contribute a lot if he can start, and they've got a lot of depth at the power forward position, and with this advantage in the east, most of those power forwards can play C. If the Raptors can play like they did two or three years ago, I don't think the first 7 teams in the east are locks, I only think 2 are (pistons and nets). If Vince can create magic like he did 3 years ago, theres no telling what position they will be.

AD can score as much as hughes. Dixon? Please he wont even start. Mo Pete can out score Dixon. Then it comes down to Areanas vs Murray. Areanas will likely out score Murray. The Wiz have a shity Frontcourt. Raps will kick there ass.
