Interesting ... Cooke definately has the talent to play in the NBA. I'm not sure Portland is the right situation for him unless they make some trades. Right now he would be buried on the bench in Portland. If I were Cooke I would go after the job in Seattle.
Lenny Cooke to portland is a horrendous idea, he needs to go somewhere and learn to be a good pro, like seattle, he needs to play with guys that are gonna get him in the news for his on the court talent, which he has plenty of, not what goes on off the court, portland would destroy this guy.

He probably doesn't want to give it another chance even though their depth at the SG/SF spot has gone down with Mason being traded.
Seattle could definetely use him, not Portland at all. Another druggie, no thanks, the Blazers front office should not make this mistake.
he's currently playing in the Philippines as an import...he scored 49 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in his FIRST game...plus he showed that he can really dribble...they lost the game though...this guy really wasted a golden opportunity...before Lebron...it was him... they have a game later against a team on a 5 game winning streak...and he'll be playing a team with Scott Burrell (the ex-Bull) as the import...i'll keep you guys posted...
