So...how's old Corey going to do with the Patriots this year? 1000 yard season? Pro-Bowl? Injured? Benched? How do you think he'll fit into the system?

I saw in Sports Illustrated they list the Dillon factor as one of the 9 big questions of this upcoming season. What do you guys think?

I have a sneaking suspicion he'll be average. But you never know. I don't think he'll light it up, but I don't think he will be benched, either. He's a bit of an enigma right now. Many people have left Cincy and busted. Carl Pickens comes to mind. Although, I guess Spikes did pretty good with his new team...

The real question is will the Pats use him much? Will he actually get more than 15 carries a game? They love using that short passing game instead of running. Dillon might be good for some short yardage TD's, but if they don't use him, what good will he be statistically?

I think they will use him more than you think. He'll get catches and running plays, I think he can still put up 1100 yards in this system. Antwan Smith put up 1000 2 years ago, and Cory is better.

I think hes goin to be a baby again cuz hes goin to get less then 1000 yards and blame it on his team. I really hate Dillon.

I think you'll see dillon be effective. He won't be baby or cry because there is to much veteren leadership that starts with the top in New England and he has no competiton till probably Cedric Cobbs next season. I think he'll make his biggest splash though in terms of touchdowns not yardage. He'll have around 1,100 yards but I think we could see both career years in TD's and Catches for dillon with the type of offense we run. We have not had a back that can get it done in the redzone and I think he will get plenty of chances. Also he is a back we don't have to take out on third down because he can catch the ball out of the backfield. Dillon should be a man on a mission this season out to prove any doubters of his skill wrong and the short passing game may not be as big of a factor because we will have a running game for once. I see him getting an easy 25 touches a Win. You'll only see less when we are playing from behind which hopefully shouldn't be too much. We did run the ball alot last season we just weren't successful so it didn't seem like the carries were there.

Pats, we seem to agree, thats two great minds thinking alike. Another reason Cory Dillon will do well is the fact he's got what he wants, a team in contention.
