i love it when people speak there minds especially celebrities, imo its really funny.....i also think there is nothing wrong with his comments, he did not put down gays in saying that 5% of the players are gay

I also think its funny... yea he was just applying his math skills to the NBA...
here's the article presented in the local orlando sentinel. http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread...96483#post96483 i think tmac should have an impact in who they sign, he wanted them to go after kandi harder, IMO. there's nothing wrong with his statement. the person who was interviewing him was trying to get more out of tmac, but he wouldn't elaborate on his comments.
Yeah true,He should have a say in who Magic sign..considering he is the franchise player and they don't want to make him unhappy in any way...You are also right on his comments....I'm sure he wasn't trying to offend anyone...I would like to know what the guy who was asking the question was thinking by asking this?
he was probably thinking that it would get public attention, like it has and that he will get the credit for making a public article like this. something like that.
he also said in the article that he is happy that juwan howard is on the magic, he will be a good addition, offensively, defensively, and bring veteran leadership. i personally think though he wanted to get someone else other than howard. he just thinks that he should be the 1st person to know and have an impact on whether or not we sign him. which i agree. you don't want someone that tmac doesn't like on the team and then they don't play well together and that ruins the big signing.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">Add Mark Madsen to your list.</div> how did u know he's gay ?
It's been a rumor around L.A. Madsen has never been seeing with a female other than his mother. Some of his gestures are labeled as being "gay." He has not come out in the open and admitted it, but I would not be surprised if is.
another point to make is that ,you could say this about any sport...[e.g 10% soccer players are gay] so maybe its a mountain out of a mohill, theres probably a gay person near to you now.....so its not a gay issue ,its just that tmac said it......ask magic johnson its not like gay sex might hinder the L
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting cross yo ova:</div><div class="quote_post">ask magic johnson its not like gay sex might hinder the L </div>What the hell does Magic have to do with anything? Gay list - 1)Laettner (kinda openly gay) 2)Madsen Keep 'em coming....
RE: Elated I'm elated to see there is some reasonable discussion concerning Tracy's comments. From the thread I started I wasn't able to get any from AF1 and sportsrock who are complete hypocrites. Check this: http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6213 As for gay players - as long as their lifestyle doesn't interfere with their work and responsibilities then who cares. That goes for heterosexuals as well. If their lifestyle interferes with work then it's a problem. If not then mind your business and respect others privacy/personal decisions.

We don't believe in sex before marriage. If he gets seen with women, he knows that the media would judge our whole religion. Let's try and be more religiously accepting ADMIN ("no personal attacks"). Mormon does not equal gay, buddy. Why exactly are we discussing these two topics on the same thread? Who cares about the Juwan issue, stop whining TMac, you just good a second scorer. This is an issue of freedom of speech. He didn't say anthing against gay. And he didn't define this homosexual behavior that he's talking about. For all we know, he could have seen two guys having gay sex.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting YaoMing03-04:</div><div class="quote_post">I think some these NBA players need to watch Tim Duncan and learn how to avoid some sensitive issues</div> Good point. Then again, at one point we would have said that about Kobe.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting YaoMing03-04:</div><div class="quote_post">I think some these NBA players need to watch Tim Duncan and learn how to avoid some sensitive issues</div> this is why the guy is so "fan-less" (to make up a word) compared to a Kobe or Tracy McGrady or Allen Iverson... Players shouldnt take the Tim Duncan approach, then the NBA would be boring... players just need to watch what they say, or take a Charles Barkley approach and back up the statements they make...
Tell me ur joking , both Mike Miller and Tracy Mcgrady are married well i know MIke is i dont know about Tracy, but he has a daughter. Why do people look at Kobe as if he committed a crime, all he did was cheat on his wife, he is only charged of rape, cheating doesnt make Kobe a bad person.
