<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sportsrock37:</div><div class="quote_post">i would rather have tmac, he's my favorite player, but he is young, he is still improving. if he can get clutch somehow, he will be the best wing player in the league by far. duncan is probably the best player, but he's getting older and i don't think he will improve too much more.</div>

T-Mac needed to share the rock more and inspire his teamates to play better in the playoffs. They say he has no help, I say that is total BS. I love what Gooden and Giricek (though they were rookies) bring to the table is some nice raw talent, they need a leader. Orlando should have beat Detroit, nuff said. T-Mac will learn, I know it.

Duncan is too good to be that bad at the line, something that I know, you know, and Tim knows he must get better at. Since Shaq has not been healthy, Tim is the no-brainer. He helps the Spurs play the best team basketball in the league (Sorry Kings fans, you guys are always hurt at the wrong time of the season)

Tim Duncan = boring = low ratings

I want a more marketable franchise player and Shaq is one of the best at giving sound bites. It's a business, you have to create excitement and drama. Shaq gives you wins with flare.

Shaq is probably the best after the game since Charles Barkley.

Did you watch the whole series? If you did you would no that giricek did nothing, he froze! Gooden was great in some games but not consistent through out the whole series. He would of had a lot more dimes but guys weren't hitting shots. When garrity was in the game it was like they were playing 4 on 5 because he had a badly torn groin and was very limited. But doc wanted him in the game to try spread the floor for t-mac.I agree he needs to inspire his teammates and be better leader. But he will be the total leader this year since armstrong is gone. They said he was still voice of the team, so we'll see if t-mac improves in that area. I think he will.

Like I said, he needed to inspire the entire team, we know what Gordon can do with the ball, it was all up to T-Mac to get him in the right mindset, real leaders do that. I know when I play ball, it is all on my shoulders to get my team all hyped up. Same goes for T-Mac if he wants to be the leader of this team.

D Gooden was playing nasty in the Pistons series he a avg 15 and 10 thats good inoff he out play BigBen so Tmac had some help.

And TMac was huging the ball he took a lot of shots. If he passed the ball others players would help him so his shoulders would not be tired

    TMac=25+ shots a game

you guys must not of watched the series too good. yes gooden provided help, but he was in foul trouble a little and gordan giricek couldn't buy a bucket and was in big foul trouble. the rest of the guys couldn't make a shot, i don't know if you guys saw what i did, but tmac set up the shooters perfect and they were building a house with all of those bricks. he found them under the basket and they missed. game 2, tmac had like almost all the magic's pts, because noone could make a shot. the big key in that series was doc's use of garrity. there is no way that garrity shoulda played that much, we shoulda played someone who was healthy and who would be effective.

yes, it was all tmac's fault because he didn't get his team to slam their foot on the pistons throat, but it's a learning experience, next year he will be hungry to advance.

For sure you'd want Shaq on your team! Even if he stops playing after a season or two and pursues his dream of being a rapping cop, he'd spark enough interest in a new franchise to get it off and running. We'd take him on the Montreal Clippers if Charlotte didn't want him. (See http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6236&page=2)

I'd take either Shaq or Kobe if I'm building a new franchise. Anyone wants to argue? Bring it.

i would love to have shaq and kobe on my team...but frankly...i don't think they have enough heart...that's why i hate the lakers...a bunch of superstars living in the limelight of LA...

i'd still go for Kidd...it's amazing what he did for the Nets...i would like you to name a player who did the same thing...Duncan is great...but he's pretty boring to watch...

Are people honestly considering starting a franchise with TMac? Ability-wise he'd be great, but he has some real issues.

Who else do you know of that goes up 3-1 in a series, and then has the nerve to talk smack to the media before it's over??!! "I'm happy to finally be out of the first round!"

Too bad you couldn't back your ish up Tmac. It would have been an upset too.

Dont write checks with your mouth that your @$$ can't cash, fool.
