Here is the Kings off-season in a nutshell. Key Additions: Brad Miller, Anthony Peeler, Tony Massenburg Key Subtractions: Keon Clark, Hedo Turkoglu, Scot Pollard, Jim Jackson(possibly) The Kings recognized really quickly that with all of the teams in the west stocking up on key talent that they just couldnt sit around and twidle their thumbs. They went out and grabbed Brad Miller and Anthony Peeler. From the looks of it Brad Miller will be the back-up for Divac for this season and next season and Anthony Peeler will be the third string shooting guard or the back-up small forward depending on what happens with Jim Jackson. Tony Massenburg comes in just to give them some insurance in case something happens to one of the big men for the Kings. Here is what the line-up will look like as of right now, according to ESPN. Point Guard - Mike Bibby, Bobby Jackson, Mateen Cleaves, and Brent Price Shooting Guard - Doung Cristie, Gerald Wallace, Anthony Peeler Small Forward - Peja Stojakovic, Jim Jackson Power Forward - Chris Webber, Lawrence Funderburke, Darius Songailia Center - Vlade Divac, Brad Miller, Tony Massenburg *Note that Mateen Cleaves, Brent Price and Jim Jackson are all un-restricted free agents. I can tell you with 100% certainty that Brent Price is retired and Mateen Cleaves will not be with the Kings next season. At this point, I am fairly certain JJ will be with a different team.
