Hornets: Mashburn ready for another big year by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com Thursday, September 18, 2003 News According to the Times Picayune, Jamal Mashburn is wrapping up a great offseason in which he has been working out six days a week. "I can't be a couch potato," said Mashburn, who played in last season's All-Star game. "I've learned how to wrap a season around an offseason. I don't play ball until September. But, during the summer, I'm doing my off-season conditioning. When I'm tired of basketball, I go to the track and get good at running." Views Mash was a top-15 forward last season, depending on the scoring method, and we expect another large season. Injuries have been his haunt for years, but he made it through last season. The extra work in the summer really pays off during the season. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=fanb...nball&type=lgns
