    Hedo

Watch his improvement when playing with Duncan....He also has a point to prove with him being in his last year of his contract.

DUNLEAVY. I think that he's going to break out of the shell that he was playing in last year, and prove that he deserved to be the #3 pick in the draft. What makes me so confident? Well, for one, it's the fact that he went on the same offseason workout regime that Troy Murphy did the previous year (and it was EXTREMELY successful for Troy- he made a strong bid for MIP last year). Two, his play at the end of last year as he grew bolder and less afraid, and his play in summer league. If they prove anything, it's that Dunleavy's ready to establish himself as one of the top young players.

    eddie griffin.

van gundy will finally get him to stop relying on the 3pt shot, and keep his game inside.

with higher percentage shots, and more minutes/game this year. i see him getting 14 and 9. and he still just turned 21.

People will jump back on the Darius Miles bandwagon this season. D-Miles has been working hard on his game and physique in the off-season and has a lot of critics to answer to. He no longer has the pressure on him, since LeBron is on the team and he will be able to thrive as the 3rd option on the Cavs.

Another player I'm looking forward to seeing as a starter is AK47. He put up some great numbers coming off the bench, and should be stat stuffer as a starter. He's a great defender and has a good all around game. He plays with a lot of confidence and energy and makes a lot of great plays on both sides of the ball.

I agree with Miles, and now that we know there will be no tanking in Cleveland, his game will open up finally. He looked very good in the summer leagues, I was impressed. If you can't play in this situation in Cleveland, with a great coach and the addition of LeBron James, with a soldout Gund every night, you can't show up at all.

I say Miles will show up, and will get votes for MI.

no, because he was already good, this award is for players who were average, below average and improved tremendously(such as gilbert arenas)

another player to watch out for is micheal redd and tim thomas of the bucks, redd can flat out shoot, he should get more min now that ray allen is gone. tim thomas is a top 3 scoring option this year and could get a chance to prove his athletic ability.

also jamal maglore could have a huge year this year. i look for him to breakout.

maggette was already good last year, didn't he avg around 16 ppg? i think that q and wilcox has a better chance of winning it then maggette does. hopefully he can get better, but i think that it will probably be someone who got around 10 or less pts last year.

Without a doubt Prince for detroit and Drew Gooden taking a even bigger role for the magic.Nick Van Exel coming out on his own and talking over/leading his team
