i think prince will be a solid role player, i don't think that he will "breakout". gooden, i doubt would get MIP also, because he showed what he could do at the end of last season and it won't really surprise many people if he gets 17 and 10.

That's who I was thinking. I'd also like to add Quentin Richardson. He'll get minutes this season. He won't me MIP, but I expect his numbers to increase as long as his playing time does.

well it'd be tough for gasol to break out, since he was around 20 and 10(don't know the right figures) he is already awesome. i think he will improve, but i doubt they would give the MIP to someone who was already good.

nugzfan, i think the bulls will make the playoffs and they have young talent, so they have to have people that break out.

Very possible. They are a great up and coming team with wonderful potential. I would add J Williams as a break out year player as well...But we wont go there [IMG]

it only goes to one person, so i'm just listing names of players that could have a breakout year. i'm not saying that they will definetely do awesome, i'm just saying that they have a good possibility of doing good. if the bulls would make the playoffs, at least 1 of those 3 players have to step up, so that's why i listed all 3 of them.

I think they'll all end up stepping up. It could be a Golden State situation, where there were two deserving candidates, except the Bulls may very well have three (and have a better chance of making the playoffs [IMG])

I would say Michael Redd, even though hes about a 13ppg scorer, he doesn't really have a player on that team that can really take it over, I would expect him to do really well next year, say about 18ppg.

I expect Dunleavy to have a breakout year and winning the MIP. He's young and had high expectations last year. He's going to show why he was #3 in the draft.

Ofcourse I hope my man Dan Gadzuric will have a very good season with the Bucks. He played pretty ok last year, but he can do a lot better with a year under his belt, and the new coach will help also.

    Nugzfan, whats up?

    Long time, no see.

PS- Dont be mad that the Bulls are better than your beloved Nuggets. And we sure showed the Portland forum that they had no chance of acquiring Carmelo......ahhh.....the good times.(lol)

sorry but that has nothing to do with it. weve already gone over this...you guys out east, year 5...we are out west, year 2. give us a few more years to be fair.

besides, the dude listed 3 bulls as MIP...wtf is up with that? there arent enough shots to go around to have all 3 improve to the point where each is considered a worthy candidate.

Wagner won't start for the Cavaliers, not for the first few weeks of the season anyway. He will however get plenty of minutes either way. I don't think he should be up for most improved because what have we seen of him? He was injured for most of his rookie season. Lets give him a healthy year to see where he actually is at.
