    well the rockets sign jimmy jackson so that makes a ton of sense trading rice but the 1st pick for ammechi....????

    john ameachi, future 2nd rounder, and their 6.5 million dollar trade exception. i think something big is gonna go down in h-town. hmm, perhaps cato or motay out?

    i hope its to the knicks for houston but
    rice would have been a big money peace in that trade so i dunno but i do agree somthins afoot in texas

    This trade was for cap reasons. Ostertag=8 mill gone after the season

    Glen Rice=9 mill gone after the season

    9 Mil gone after the season and one hell of a spot up shooter..which the Jazz needed in my opinion.

    Expiring contract or not, Ameachi is a pain-in-the-ass-racist and I'd hate to have him on any team. He hates America and he hates whites.

    Because he got offered a lot of money, the only thing he cares about. Wave is right, he is racist and one of Utah's assistant coaches accused him of it last season. Because of his attitude he ended up on the bench, a lot. I'm so happy this trade happened, he wasn't doing a thing and this gives more time to the younger big men. I knew he'd be traded but I thought Utah wouldn't get a good trade for him, but they did. Glen Rice could be very useful because of his offense. Amaechi will probably do better in Houston than Utah but that doesn't concern any Utah fan right know. Very good trade for Utah :thumbsup:
