<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Neither Garnett or his agent, Andy Miller, would comment Monday when asked about the contract negotiations. Team owner Glen Taylor, who said last week the Wolves offered Garnett an extension, didn't return a phone call seeking comment. Miller, who accompanied Garnett to North High School, wouldn't confirm if an offer had been made. The two sides have been discussing an extension for two years. If no deal can be reached before Minnesota's opener against Milwaukee on Oct. 29, Taylor said earlier he would prefer to halt talks until after the season to avoid the distraction. If that happens, Garnett can become a free agent next summer. By league rules, Garnett is limited to a five-year extension -- unless he waits until next July. In that case, he could sign for seven years with the Wolves or six years with another club.</div> http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1626658
Hmm..... I don't know about this. This could go either way. I don't think he signed it yet, but I'm guessing he will by the end of training camp.
He's signing it by today. I love the Wolves even more. He's taking a pay cut, that means better free agents next year.
