Terms of the deal were not immediately announced Wednesday, but it is thought to be a five-year extension worth more annually than Garnett's current deal, which averaged out to $21 million per year over six years.</div>

Wow, great move on the Wolves part. KG says that he wants to play his whole career in Minnesota. You Wolves fans must be very excited.

THese are my thoughts exactly. I think KG will always be a Wolf just like Duncan will always be a Spur. He has deep loyalty to the Wolves and he has the fan support he needs. The Wolves are his team and they will do everything to make themselves competitive. Good choice for KG to stick in Minnesota.

Yeah, it is great to see team loyalty coming back. Though I'm sure the $ he'll be making for the Wolves doesn't hurt either.

I wonder how deep into the playoffs they'll get this year though. Seriously into luxury tax territory, and with a bunch of players who needs the ball and have bad attitudes, I don't think the roster will go unchanged for too long. I suppose KG is as good as any player to lead a team like that though.

Once again another player gains my resepct by staying with his team, unlike some people.

I am really suprised by KG that he wanted to stay, considering how most nba players are. Very good, great player, great guy.
