yao has turned into a freaking beast. check out this clip of yao in the asian game's championship. this is one of the most ferocious dunks i've seen in a long time. http://www.anthonyhoang.net/yaoming/pub/Ya...031001)HL03.wmv
That wasn't ferocious at all... Theres many big men that can do a lot better. I'm not trying to bash him because I want to see him get better, but please, that was nothing special.

I like the emotion, but in the NBA he can't just catch it and dunk like he did with those two guys behind him..NBA players won't let him get that position. However, give the damn ball to Yao Ming. Nuff said.
ok that was craaazy, i have never seen such a ferious dunk!! jk, that was an ok dunk, u see it every day in the nba, nuthin to get excited about
The fact China is playing Korea, was likely the reason Yao screamed and dunked it with authority. Yao does look a lot bigger though, he should have a good year.

I knew Yao was working out over the offseason, but he is about 10 pounds bigger than I thought. He's been playing competitive basketball over the offseason which must help him, this should lead to him being more dominating, watch out for Yao this season.
Well last year Yao got tired, he plays lots of basketball year round and gets little rest, this may not be a good thing.
this is Yao's year...i would like to imagine him as a powerful player with Hakeem Olajuwon's pivot moves...
I read somewhere that he added on 20 pounds! That's pretty good. Looks like a lot of key players are adding weight, Iverson, Marion, and now Yao.
20 lbs of MUSCLES at that...unlike some guy I know who's getting fatter every season...but ive heard he's in good shape now...we'll see...
