Yes you can test hair samples for weed...I'm not sure about other drugs. It's the length of time in your hair I'm not sure about.

But Miami's defense is still light years ahead of yours unless Vilma is the ray lewis the II and that still puts them ahead of your Jets IMO...plus pennington needs to play a full season. If you guys can get your defense going you could be better than Miami this season...provided they don't find a new running back somehow someway this season.

also, miami chokes down the stretch the last 2 years, so they have to prove they can get it done like my eagles have to later in the postseason(i only mentioned that becasuse some1 would say "well the eagles choke everyyear"

I agree with the Dolfan here. RW should have told them of his thoughts before the draft. (Or at least before the quality June 1st cuts were all signed). This puts Miami in a bad spot for this season. Go home Ricky! Put on the wedding dress, stare in the mirror and cry me a river you jerk!

I was completely shocked when I heard the news from my girlfriend. Why would he give up every little boys dream to travel Asia? It's a weird thing, does anyone think he will return?

Yeah, he'll return. He's going to travel Asia for a few years, run out of money, and try to make a comeback. The question will be if it is possible. Who is going to trust him after he retired so close to the season?

It doesn't look like the Dolphins will trade for Onterrio Smith...from the StarTribune:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Vikings have put running back Michael Bennett off limits to potential trade suitors and established a high price for Onterrio Smith. For that reason, coach Mike Tice said Monday, it is "doubtful" the team will entertain any serious offers for Smith.</div>

Ricky just took the top spot on my lifetime shit list....not for retiring, but for retiring a week before camp like a whiny selfish bitch....I wouldnt want him as a teammate now even if wanted to come back....in football, things happen that arent always pleasant, but you regroup, and you move on...thats what I expect from the Dolphins this season....the Lions used the Barry thing as motivation and actually improved their record, time to see it in Miami....

I would not be surprised if the dolphins won 13 games this season. You do not need a good offense to win football games. You only need a field goal kicker(mare can be good) and a decent passer(which feeley or fiedler can be, especially now that they have two weapons on outside.) They still have a back who will average 3 yards a carry and they can just convert 3rd downs occasional and be real conservative and use clock. I would not be surprised
    if they won 13 games.

I agree with above. Don't count the Phins out just yet. You never know Minor could have a blow out year, if he starts. With Boston as an addition to the recieving team will help pull some pressure off the run a little. And this Defense WILL be in the 5 by the end of the year.
My prediction (now w/out Ricky) 9-7+

Guys, while i wish this was just a hoax on Rickys part, he is retiring. Im pretty good friends with several UT players including Cedric Benson who talks with ricky one or two times a week and this isnt just something he decided to do out of the blue. He first began thinking bout it about 8 months ago according to Cedric and according to the press he told retired Vikings running back Robert Smith 6 months ago that he was gonna retire. About the whole pot thing, i dont really know what Ricky does in his personal life but i have talked with him before and he is a very very inteligent guy and a very deep thinker. Even if he did smoke pot when he failed his test, that had little or nothing to do with this decision. Ricky just wasnt happy with being in the spotlight cause he isnt that type of guy. Even if he has to give back 8 million, that will not effect his bank account very much. He has plenty of money and from what i know invested it very wisely

The Ravens won with absolutely no offense? Jamal Lewis ran for 1364 yards that season, a very good total for a back who played on a team with "no offense"....thanks for the advice 1083 about what us Fins fans should do before the season, Ill give you some in return, If I was a Jets fan, I'd blow my freaking head off, you had the best coach in the game, and lost him, then you had the next best coach in the game to replace him, and you lost him, damn that must suck....as far as Miami's chances for this season, nothing has changed....they missed the playoffs twice with Ricky becuase they became complacement and overused him, now they will be forced to play as a team, and we will see if they can....I just hope a down year doesnt save Wanny job because of the Ricky factor....

After reading the above post, all I can say is "Rock on!"

Sage advice to a fan of the green weenies. It is true what you said about Miami's offensive strategy. I have been saying the same thing too. Until Dave goes away, Miami is doomed.

I told a Raiders fan yesterday at work that Wanny was gathering the rookies for a welcome speech. It was real short. 2 words; We're toast!

If the Ricky debacle turns out to be some sort of reprive for DW then I don't know what I'll do.
