Maybe..... They will be able to start alston at point rather than Lamar so he can play SF. this will give him a chance to prove he can be a starting point guard. Im not sayin he is an all-star, but he can be good for 13 pts 6 ast at least for a month if he can get 20 pts 6 reb 6 ast in 4 games.

I'd rather he be healthy in the long run. I just wanted to see the team at full strength out of the gates.
6.6 pts 3.7 ast 1.9 reb 18.8 minutes (off the bench) Lets say hes playin 35 minutes, and since he is in the flow of the game as a starter these are my projected stats as a starter 13.2 pts,7.1 ast, and 3.5 reb thats sayin he does play at least as good he does when he comes off the bench
If alston starts then it would mean putting EJ at SF: PG:Alston SG:Wade SF:Eddie PF:Odom C:Grant or am i wrong?
That is way too small a lineup, and Miami does have holes all over this roster with positions, but at least they have versatile players like Wade and Odom (who will get lots of assists) The biggest question is not the pg, but the front court, who starts next to Grant? I would not put Odom at the PF, SF is where he belongs.
yes. Odom belongs at SF but Caron does also... As Eddie belongs at SG but Wade also does belong at SG.. I think Odom can play more PF than Butler... Odom can rebound,pass,block,and score... I read somewhere in the sunsentinel that Caron might play PF and Odom would play Center at some time....
Odom cant play Power forward. So he sure in hell cant play C. Butler cant play pf. Butler is a sg/sf.
I beleive Odom can play PF because he has the size! Although he wont that affective.. Odom is 6'9 and Butler is 6'7 If i had to pick one of them to be PF then it would Odom... We cant bench Caron or Odom!

Then what do u suggest put Caron at PF or Bench Caron? There is no other way but to put Odom at PF....Wether i like it or not.. I will still predict that Odom will play PF for us...

With their current roster, the Heat will give Odom a shot as the starting PF. They are still trying to pursue a 7 footer, including free agent Stepania. The Heat also brought in Ike Austin to play some minutes in the frontcourt. Maybe they can bring in Mutombo to start for them and move Wade to the bench.
yes it would be good if we bring Mutombo and Wade come off the bench but i doubt Mutombo would want to sign in Miami....
