If we sign Mutumbo we should trade Antonio Davis. But i bet if we sign Mutumbo AD will be a little bit more happy. Post in this thread some trades to get rid of AD that are realistic. Its great now that if we trade AD we wont need a Center back. I will post a ton of possibilities later.

If Mutumbo comes into the picture at RaptorLand I don't think trading off AD will be the talk of the town that it is now. The reason the Raps are looking to dump off AD is to pick-up a legitimate bigman. If they sign Mutumbo without having to trade anyone off then they're not gonna drop AD when they can move him over to the 4 spot. AD is a good player when he's not forced to compete in the center with every other giant in todays NBA. The guys 6'9 and still scores 13ppg and 8 boards jamming away in the paint. When you bring in a 7-2 veteran that can handle the post on both ends you don't throw away a leading scorer on your team. I know the cap room is a HUGE reason to wave goodbye to Davis, but after the last season with the raptors injuries, CAP ROOM is the LAST thing the Raptors are thinking of. They NEED to make it to the playoffs, no questions, they HAVE to get there. Who's to say we get Mutumbo and he doesn't get Raptor'opiea and ends up injured a month into the season and we've already traded off Davis....then we're really screwed aren't we. I think the raptors need to hold on to Davis even if Mutumbo comes here. We need to win, and if you have to spend some pocket change to do it, then so be it.
