The Memphis Grizzlies and the Milwaukee Bucks face off on October 6th (Monday) at 7:00 CT. Does anyone have any predictions? I will be going to the game so I will bring back a game summary. I am very anxious to see how James Posey, Dahntay Jones, Jake Tsakalidas, and Troy Bell will do. I predict that the Grizzlies will win by about ten points.

The game was amazing. The Grizzlies were in prime form. They played the backups most of the time while the bucks played all starters and the Grizzlies still won by eleven points. There were a few things that surprised me. First of all, Stromile Swift is a starter over Lorenzen Wright. Second of all, Ryan Humphrey is amazing. He is downright terrific. And third of all, Mike Miller is K-I-N-G! I'll have more later. And it will make sense. I promise.
Okay, here is some better analysis. I thought the game was great. I had nice tickets that a neighboor gave me so I got to go in through a special access door. It was nice. They had a room to wait in with a bar and tables to wait at instead of waiting outside for the doors to open like the public has to do. Inside this room I met Theron Smith and Richard Jeter. I had a nice conversation with the two. They are very nice people. Anyway, about the game, the Bucks never had the lead. Earlier I said that Ryan Humphrey was the biggest surprise and I am sticking by that statement. Humphrey wasn't a top fifteen draft pick last year for nothing. He has potential to be an excellent sixth man. He's bulky and athletic. That is a perfect combination. Newcomer James Posey had a great game. On offense he was awful, but he was a deffensive beast. Every time down the floor he made a stop. He is exactly what the Grizzlies have needed. With him the Grizzlies actually appear like a strong deffensive. Of course, the real test of this deffense will be their first game against a Western team. Rookies Dahntay Jones and Troy Bell both had mediocre performances. Jones had tonnes of deffensive stops, but he almost fouled out. He had limitted playing time but still played in the second rotation. Bell on the other hand was in the third rotation behind Jason Williams and Earl Watson. Bell couldn't have played more than six minutes so it was very hard to see what kind of player he is. The best game belonged to Mike Miller. Miller didn't play half of the minutes he will be getting once the season starts and he still managed to lead the Grizzlies in scoring. Well, that is about it. The only other interesting thing that happened to me all night was running into Steve Kerr. He is very approachable. We had about a five minute conversation. He just seemed like an old pal.
Swift had a nice game and he has to be a starter over wright and miller was playing nasty like he played for magic. JWill had a solid hame too for those min the he got. Wave were there any nasty DUNKS????
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting JWillTheFreak:</div><div class="quote_post">Wave were there any nasty DUNKS????</div>Only three players had nasty dunks. Pau Gasol had a power dunk for his first two points, Ryan Humphrey had three huge dunks, and finally Earl Watson had the best dunk of the game late in the fourth after a break away. This too was a power dunk. The best play of the game was when Jason Williams did a behind the back pass to Pau Gasol who finished off with a hook shot.
