Wagner, who sat out the final 20 games of his rookie season after having surgery on the knee in March, visited orthopedist Dr. James Andrews this week in Birmingham, Ala. Cavaliers general manager Jim Paxson said Andrews consulted with Cavs physician Dr. Richard Parker, and after reviewing MRI results, they concluded that Wagner needs to have the torn meniscus in his knee repaired immediately.
