Denver beats Seattle for the Lombardi Trophy. They are half right... about the team that loses. My early guess is on the Colts to represent the AFC.

Denver has no D Line & no weapons for an average QB other than an aging Rod Smith.

Miami as always will get it done w/ smoke & mirrors.

Sporting News, SI, ESPN and all the other shit out there make rediculous predictions to sell their product. It's marketing, and if you buy a magazine with a player from you'r teamon the cover, its been specificly made for your city, and was made to please you. I've seen the same magazines in New England and Philly that have the Pats and Eagles going all the way and both have Brady or whoever and McNabb on the cover. It's all marketing

If recent history has taught us anything it's that ANYONE is a legit contender for the Lombardi Trophy. I'll say the Pats over the Seahawks but it could easily be the Jags over the Skins.

    No D-Line?
Trevor Pryce has made his teammates look above average playing beside him. Trevor gets double and triple teamed almost every game. If that continues his fellow linesmen could have a very good year again. And now with the addition of Bailey and Lynch, there could be even more coverage sacks than there have been the last couple of years combined.

    Average QB?
Plummer had the best year of his career last year. I know he had Portis but the Broncos still have Anderson who rushed for over 1,400 yards and was named offensive rookie of the year his first year. What makes this more impressive was that he did this with Griese as the starting QB. Tatum Bell has the Broncos coaches raving that he is a bigger version of Portis but with Portis' speed (Bell was the fastest RB at the combine this year). I think the whoever runs the ball will do more than an decent job.

    Aging Smith?
While this is true, he still has what it takes to be a solid WR and he will do fine in the 2nd spot as Lelie is ready to take over the top spot this year. Plus the Broncos finally have more than enough talent to fill the 3rd WR slot with all their young WR's waiting in the wings.

Compared to the last few years the Broncos are younger and faster and have a totally new identity. They have the talent to compete hard and be a very strong AFC contender, I wouldn't count them out just yet.

Ive gotta say Plummer is goin to break out this year and and be in the top 5 qbs for the AFC. The problem is Lelie is goin to be the one who gets the most receptions cuz of Smith being old and being washed up.

He'll be running on the field and his legs are goin to fall off. He has gotten slower and won't be able to overcome the CBs.

I dont see the Colts being stopped this year....the rule enforcement changes benefit them the most and hurt the Patriots the most....Ill say Colts over Seahawks 45-10
