Preseason Game: 1

Our first preseason game was against the Miami Heat. In my eyes I thought we would get this one hands down, but that did not happen. They overpowered us on offense and we did not have a strong defensive stance as Derrick, Marc, and Todd sat out. Eddie Jones lit up the night with 25 points, while Lamar Odom added 18 points and 9 rebounds!

Box Score

Final Score:
Heat: 86
Sixers: 79

Scoring Leaders:
Eric Snow:15 pts. (3/5 fg%)
Glenn Robinson: 13 pts. (5/9 fg%)
Allen Iverson: 11 pts. (2/10 fg%)

Rebounding Leaders:
Amal McCaskill: 9 reb. (3 off., 6 def.)
Glenn Robinson: 6 reb. (2 off., 4 def.)
Sam Clancy: 4 reb. (2 off., 2 def.)

Assists Leaders:
Allen Iverson: 2 ast.
Eric Snow: 2 ast.
Kenny Thomas: 1 ast.

The whole night was a disaster, our three defensives presences sat out, so we had no major rebounds, or blocks. Also we turned the ball over 20 times! Another thing is that we didn't dish out as good as I had hoped, we only had 7 assists the whole game!

i can't really say i agree. if u watched the game, he is a ball hog. there were several occasions where kyle korver was WIDE open for the 3, and green just took it himself. yes, he is a scorer, but i dont think he will play at all. even if AI is out, salmons or mckie will start.

dalembert had 3 blocks!!! finally....he had one on duncan [IMG]

Preseason Game: 2

Our second preseason game was against the Washington Wizards, and we embarrassed them. I did not know what would happen as we had lost to Miami the previous game. But we pulled it out, even though we were missing two starters, Glenn and Derrick.

Box Score

Final Score:
Wizards: 83
Sixers: 103

Scoring Leaders:
Allen Iverson: 23 pts. (11/18 fg%)
Willie Green: 18 pts. (7/11 fg%)
Aaron McKie: 12 pts. (3/6 fg%)

Rebounding Leaders:
Samuel Dalambert: 7 reb. (3 off., 4 def.)
Kenny Thomas: 6 reb. (3 off., 3 def.)
Monty Williams: 6 reb. (2 off., 4 def.)

Assists Leaders:
John Salmons: 4 ast.
Eric Snow: 3 ast.
Allen Iverson: 3 ast.

The night went well I would say, we improved much from the last game. We had 18 assists this game compared to 7 the last. Also, Willie Green shined tonight, getting 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assits in only his second NBA game! The only major thing that did not go our way was the three-point shooting, we didn't have a single three pointer!

Preseason Game: 3

Our third preseason game was against the San Antonio Spurs, and we played rather well I would say. I was hoping we would turn this one out and get the W, however that was not the case. The Spurs were just to powerful for us and we still did not have a strong defensive presence, as Derrick, and Todd sat out again due to injuries. We had a strong 4th quarter run but it was not enough.

Box Score

Final Score:
Spurs: 100
Sixers: 98

Scoring Leaders:
Willie Green: 18 pts. (6/13 fg%)
Allen Iverson: 13 pts. (4/10 fg%)
Kyle Korver: 12 pts. (4/10 fg%)

Rebounding Leaders:
Sam Clancy: 8 reb. (2 off., 6 def.)
Allen Iverson: 5 reb. (1 off., 4 def.)
Samuel Dalambert: 4 reb. (2 off., 2 def.)

Assists Leaders:
Aaron McKie: 5 ast.
Allen Iverson: 4 ast.
John Salmons: 2 ast.

The night went on a mediocare pace, we could have done better. At times we were down by 13-17 points but we got back up and almost took the game out of their hands. Both of our star rookies shined tonight, Willie had 18 points again, along with Kyle's 12. They seem like they will shine in the near future, I am really glad we got our hands on them. The big reason the Spurs won is because of their inside play, they outscored us 48-28 in the paint.

Preseason Game: 4

Our fourth preseason game was against the New Jersey Nets, and we played ok I would say. It was a close game that went into overtime thanks to Willie Green's late three pointer in the fourth quarter. The Nets were just to powerful for us as was the case with the Spurs last game. We still did not have a strong defensive presence, as Derrick, Kenny, and Todd sat out again due to injuries. We had a strong 4th quarter run but it was not enough as they edged us out by two points.

Box Score

Final Score:
Nets: 90
Sixers: 88

Scoring Leaders:
Glenn Robinson: 15 pts. (7/13 fg%)
Allen Iverson: 13 pts. (6/17 fg%)
Willie Green: 11 pts. (4/14 fg%)

Rebounding Leaders:
Samuel Dalambert: 12 reb. (3 off., 9 def.)
Marc Jackson: 6 reb. (4 off., 2 def.)
Sam Clancy: 5 reb. (3 off., 2 def.)

Eric Snow: 6 ast.

The night went on a mediocare pace, we could have done better. At one time we were down by 14 points but we got back up and almost took the game out of their hands. The sad thing about this game was that both Jason and Kenyon sat out fo the Nets and we still lost. I really don't know what is happening to us, we are currently 1-3, all of these games were pretty close and we could have won them.
