Last year Pierce averageed 7.30 rebounds per game, 6 of which were defensive rebounds, there goes the he misses so many times he gets his own rebounds. also his career shooting % is .438 compared to Iverson's .420. also Pierce is near the top of the league in SPG.
also, the reason why the celtics aren't as good is because it's toine that takes all the bad shots, he is shooting under 40%. pierce is an elite player in this league.

yeah, i was gonna say that pierce gets to the line a lot, and i knew he was at least top 5, but didn't know he was the top one.

Pierce is a career 43.8% shooter. That's an outstanding field goal % for the type and amount of shots he takes. He is also one of the best at taking the ball to the hoop and getting the and one. You complain about him taking a lot of shots, but you choose A.I. and Kobe. Pierce takes less shots a game than either of them, and shots a higher % than A.I. Not trusting his teammates is another fact you overlooked. Pierce averaged 4.4 assists last season, and 6.7 assists in the post-season, when it counts.

Pierce has more control emotionally then AI does, IMO. Plus how can you judge the heart of one player to another?

pp doesn't get as many calls as he should either, neither does tmac. neither does shaq, almost every star should get more calls.

Look, Pierce or Peirce, whomeva.....IS A GOOD Player!!!! As fas as heart goes, I think my statement (IMO) is a fair one. AI at 6-0 165 takes more beatdowns than any guard. As far as negative energy, I aint so sure... AI got his team to the finals almost singlehandedly.... If he had a running mate like Peirce has (Walker) you'd see what I mean. Pierce went through that stabbing where he could have been KILLED, and he still played at an all star level that season...don't even question the mans heart.
