Don't sleep on MY TERPS For all you hayt-uhs the TERPS will make noise...........John Gilchrist is the best PG in the ACC.............
Hey, listen, they're MY TERPS, not yours . They're not a strong team this year, but they're deep, and young, next year or the year after they will be very good.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting illslope:</div><div class="quote_post">For all you hayt-uhs the TERPS will make noise...........John Gilchrist is the best PG in the ACC.............</div>LOL... not a chance.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting illslope:</div><div class="quote_post">For all you hayt-uhs the TERPS will make noise...........John Gilchrist is the best PG in the ACC.............</div> I'm a terps fan and even I know thats not true, Raymond Felton is in the ACC and hes better, what are you talking about?
Felton is nice, no doubt....but Gilchrist is too strong for him...I'd like to point out that out that our five newcomers from last season played significant minutes. With the incoming class we have this year, we'll finish no lower than third in the conference.....
go terps!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they will be around the 15-25 in the top 25 the whole year. they will likely get the 4th-5th seed in the tourney, but you can never count them out. no way is gilchrist the best pg in the ACC, he's gonna be good, but he's not that good. can't wait for the season to start.

Don't sleep!!!!!!!!!
The "Terps" lost their six best players. Don't expect jack from them. They will never be ranked and they will be extremely lucky to get a 11-12 seed in the Tournament.
i HEAR YOU WAVE, BUT IMA HAfta RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE............WHO YOU THINK WILL MAKE NOISE THIS YEAR?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting illslope:</div><div class="quote_post">WHO YOU THINK WILL MAKE NOISE THIS YEAR?</div>Every team but Maryland.
We'll see Grizz. Felton is nicer than Duhon.... Duhon needs to shoot better and be the leader. If he does that then Duke is final 4 bound.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting illslope:</div><div class="quote_post">We'll see Grizz. Felton is nicer than Duhon.... Duhon needs to shoot better and be the leader. Here is why - John Gilchrist (Maryland) - 4.6 ppg, 1.7 apg, 2.1 rpg, 25 steals Chris Duhon (Duke) - 9.2 ppg, 64. apg, 3.2 rpg, 62 steals Ben Gordon (Connecticut) - 19.5 ppg, 4.7 apg, 4.2 rpg, 38 steals Raymond Felton (North Carolina) - 12.9 ppg, 6.7 apg, 4.1 rpg, 56 steals Chris Hill (Michigan State) - 13.7 ppg, 3.7 apg, 3.4 rpg, 51 steals Jameer Nelson (Saint Joseph's) - 19.7 ppg, 4.7 apg, 5.1 rpg, 66 steals Marcus Moore (Washington State) - 18.2 ppg, 4.7 apg, 5.4 rpg, 30 steals Luis Flores (Manhattan) - 24.6 ppg, 2.9 apg, 5.6 rpg, 58 steals Timmy Bowers (Mississippi State) - 14.7 ppg, 3.1 apg, 3.8 rpg, 52 steals Andre Barrett (Seton Hall) - 16.7 ppg, 5.3 apg, 3.8 rpg, 45 steals <font color="Red">Marques Green (St.Bonaventure) - 21.3 ppg, 8 apg, 3.7 rpg, 71 steals</font> Tim Barnes (Iowa State) - 11.3 ppg, 5 apg, 3.6 rpg, 40 steals Pierre Pierce (Iowa) - Did not play (but will be a top 5 guard) Devin Harris (Wisconsin) - 12.7 ppg, 3.1 apg, 4.6 rpg, 65 steals Chris Thomas (Notre Dame) - 18.7 ppg, 6.9 apg, 4 rpg, 62 steals Errick Craven (Southern California) - 13 ppg, 2.6 apg, 5.3 rpg, 73 steals Aaron Miles (Kansas) - 8.9 ppg, 6.4 apg, 3.3 rpg, 91 steals Corey Santee (TCU) - 16.3 ppg, 5 apg, 2.4 rpg, 35 steals Jarrett Jack (Georgia Tech) - 9.5 ppg, 5.9 apg, 3.5 rpg, 51 steals Dee Brown (Illinois) - 12.3 ppg, 5 apg, 3.7 rpg, 54 steals Daniel Horton (Michigan) - 15.2 ppg, 4.5 apg, 2.3 rpg, 41 steals Justin Gray (Wake Forest) - 12.7 ppg, 3.5 apg, 3.6 rpg, 28 steals Anthony Roberson (Florida) - 12.3 ppg, 1.8 apg, 2.5 rpg, 34 steals Jimmy McKinney (Missouri) - 8.5 ppg, 3.4 apg, 3.8 rpg, 26 steals Gerry McNamara (Syracuse) - 13.3 ppg, 4.4 apg, 2.3 rpg, 77 steals Bryan Hopkins (SMU) - 13.1 ppg, 3.9 apg, 3.2 rpg, 61 steals C.J. Watson (Tennessee) - 9.1 ppg, 5.5 apg, 4.2 rpg, 36 steals Martell Bailey (Illinois-Chicago) - 10 ppg, 8.1 apg, 3.7 rpg, 35 steals Mike Helms (Oakland, MI) - 26.9 ppg, 2 apg, 4 rpg, 40 steals All of those guards are better than Gilchrist in the four major point guard statistics (points, assists, rebounds, steals). The best out of them is probably Raymond Felton, and the best statistically out of them is Marques Green (Highlighted in Red)
Gilchrist's stats were pretty good for a freshman who only played an average of 13mpg. Now with Steve Blake gone and an opportunity to start we could see much improvement. But, I would not say that he will be the best pg in the ACC. Felton, Duhon, and Jarrett Jack are my top 3.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ice Breaker:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah come on illslope who do you think you are???</div> lmao. I can't believe other terps fans are like this... So biased... Answering your question illslope; my "squad" is the Terps, but I find it funny how people think they will be so great this year, when they won't be, unless a miracle happens. They are way to young and inexperienced to be good, next year or the year after I think they will be better, because the young players will gain some experience.
