Yea, this is my actual fantasy team for a fantasy bball site. Everyone that I talk to and show this to thinks it's really good and they wonder how I managed it. Anyways, I figured I'd show you guys and you're opinions. GF - Tracy McGrady (ORL) C - Yao Ming (HOU) F - Carmelo Anthony (DEN) GF - Jerry Stackhouse (WAS) GF - LeBron James (CLE) F - Caron Butler (MIA) FC - Tyson Chandler (CHI) G - Jamal Crawford (CHI) GF - Mike Miller (MEM) G - Tony Parker (SAS) G - David Wesley (NOR) G - Juan Dixon (WAS) So, what do you guys think. I like it. Not too shabby in my opinion. Probably the best or 2nd best in the league that I'm in.
They did a fantasy draft and that's merely how it all came out. That is quite my team. I was wondering how I managed something so good also, but, hey, it's mine, so, I don't care.
that's pretty good. it all depends on how well your young guys do. some of them haven't proved anything yet. if it's a keeper league it's awesome. i personally like my team better, though. but i'm biased. pg-franchise sg-ricky davis g-corey maggette sf-desmond mason pf-jermaine o neal f-pau gasol c-kurt thomas c-big z utility-shreef abdur rahim utility-kandi man bench-drew gooden bench-nene hilario bench-gordan giricek i like mine better because all of the guys have accomplished a little. mason and maggette will definetely have huge years this year. i have the all stars in franchise and jermaine o neal. pau gasol will be good. abdur rahim is underrated. i'm not trying to knock your team, it's very good.
You should trade Sharif Abdur Rahim and Thomas for a good C!!! Thats my opinion!!! Moo2K4- You have to improve u guards they only good people u have are TMac Ming and Jerry and the rest of them are avg.!!!
Might I ask, but, what's wrong with Mike Miller??? He's a tremendous guard/forward. Tony Parker is a pretty good player. Melo I'm thinkin will be a stellar player (scored 19 pts off 9/15 shooting last night in 106-102 preseason win). So, yea, I think I'll be pretty good with the guard position. Plus, my team'll be much improved after Butler comes of the DL.
Oh yea, not too mention that Crawford will, in all likelyhood, be the full time starting PG for Chicago this year, and, he showed some excellent signs during late last season. So, again, I think he'll be another stellar guard for me.
i could play o neal at center if i wanted. i really like shreef, he was a top 15 fantasy player last year, IMO. i picked him kinda late and he was very consistent. i think kurt thomas is my one weak guy. i could play nene or gooden instead of him.
I know what you mean but they did not prove them selfs yet in NBA and when I for NBA Fantasy I pick players that prove that they will produce. But I also draft sleepers to but most of u guys are sleepers!!! Miller and melo will both have nice seasons so thise were good picks!! Crafword- This should be the season when he will step it up becuase before he was inury and the bulls want to start the rookie PG Jay Williams!!!

yeah, i like mike miller a lot. you are just too dependant on lebron and melo. i dont' think either will avg 18 ppg. they will both be around 15, IMO. like i said i love your team if it was a keeper league, since a lot of those guys will be allstars within a couple of years. this year will be a stepping stone for those players to become allstars.
You know, even if Melo and Bron only put up 15 ppg, which, is about what I would expect, I still got TMac who will be putting up 30 ppg consistently. So, even if they only put up 15 ppg, which is still good, TMac will make up for it.

TMac is a great fantasy player but he wont carry your team to a Championship in Fantasy!!! You have to remember that other teams have players like KG/KIDD/ONEAL/KOBE/TD and other stars!!!

SportsRock, you do have a good team, I will give you that much. Whether it's better than mine, I dunno. There is probably no way we can find out cause, yea, they'll never play eachother. Though, not trying to be biased here, I do think that I have a better team. I mean, I have 2 people in Melo and Bron who could be potential stars this season, Butler is going to be better, Crawford will improve, I mean, it goes on and on. The only weakness I can really see is that Bron and Melo are rookies and might be slightly nervous throughout the season, other than that, I don't see why I couldn't have a better team.
