Kidd and mourning for godsake quit crying...You have millions of cash..you could order your own private plane to wherever the nets move to...Kidd like Jermaine O'Neal has publicly said he should of signed in San Antonio...Oh well....You made a big mistake....once Kidd realises he won't no further than the finals every year..He will say again "DAMN I should of gone to S.A..I could of got a few rings".

Kidd and Mourning are starting to sound like Vlade Divac and the Kings...

but you have to admire Kidd's loyalty to the Nets when he re-signed...he's saying that he wants to win a championship for the Nets...he feels like it's his team...and it's his responsibility...but i personally would be pissed if they moved...knowing that it's one of the reasons why he re-signed...but he's a professional...he's just voicing out his opinion...he's entitled to his own opinion right?

Yeah but he shouldn't go bashing a team that he just resigned a huge deal with. If they move then the entire team and organization will also move and be effected. He wont be the only one, so he should stop moaning

Man that would suck if he left. He could win a championship in NJ. If the nets are smart, they wont risk losing kidd

he COULD win a championship...meaning they have the talent to do it...he didn't say the he WOULD win a championship...because the West are too strong...but i still would like to believe that they'll be crowned champions one of these years...

I don't see Kidd ever winning a championship..the talent level in the west is just too good.By the time Shaq retires....Duncan is late in his career..along with KG...Their will be rising superstars like Ming,Amare,Anthony,Nene e.t.c only way I see Kidd winning a title is if he goes to one of the west powerhouses like Payton or Malone have....

The Nets have okay talent. Kittles is okay at best, and Zo is okay. Jefferson and Martin are good complimentrary players. And Kidd doesn't have the scoring to carry a team. I know, he averaged 18ppg, but I don't see him doing that again.

Who's to say the nets will make it back there? I think the Pistons have a better shot then the Nets.

Kidd still makes the Nets better than any team in the East, all by himself.

The Nets are not a lock to make the finals....Pistons,Pacers and Sixers all could beat the Nets in a 7 game series....Nets are favourites but they are by no means a lock to get to the finals again....getting there 3 straight times is tough to do..and do we really want to see the Nets turn into the Bills?

there is no way that a healthy Nets team will not win the East...and i don't care if they lose in the NBA Finals for the third time...as long as they're the best in the East...which is their position right now...

come to think of it...they got better...they upgraded the team that's easily the best in the East...

K-Mart and Jefferson: definitely matured...watch out for these guys...K-Mart will definitely try to prove that he's worth a multi-year/million contract..

J-Kidd: he'll do his best as usual...especially now that he chose to remain with the Nets...

Zo: solid contributor as always...he'll be slow at first...but he'll be fierce as always

    Kittles/Harris: will definitely contribute...

    come on man...

First off...I do think the Nets will make the finals..my point wasn't that they aren't good enough....It is just the other east teams improved their rosters as well.As it is the east afterall who knows what may happen in the playoffs...The Nets are not a lock to make the finals....they are the favourites but they aren't unbeatable as some seem to think...Their run of making the finals every year will be broken sometime...

of course no one is a lock to win it...there are some events that may surprise us all...but what are we talking about here? stats-wise right? and those other numbers to determine who'll win it? if you're going to look at every angle (except injuries, possibility of Darko averaging 20+ points, Miller going back to his old self)...all signs show that the Nets will win it...

yup, i agree with you on this, your highness. though i'm a jersey fan, i think that if they won't be good enough to go all the way this year (which i believe is impossible with all the great teams in the west) they would be better off not getting to the finals and realize that being the best in the east is simply not good enough for us fans. make drastic improvements and make a good run for the championship!

    go nets!!!
