I have people in fantasy basketball league that are really interested in trading for Carmello Anthony? Should I take a chance and keep him or shoule I try to trade for Tony Parker, or Bonzi Wells, or Ricky Davis
Well my roster is as follows: Starters Stephon Marbury Michael Finley Jason Richardson Jerry Stackhouse Rasheed Wallace Juwan Howard Shaquille O'Neal Derrick Coleman Carmelo Anthony Al Harrington Bench James Posey Howard Eisley Eric Williams I'm playing in a Yahoo league and I have no idea how I got this good of a squad in a draft where everbody has the oppurtunity to pre rank the players just like I did
James Posey, Howard Eisley, Eric Williams, and Derrick Coleman can get the axe, I would really comb through FA and grab the studs/versatile players that are left. You need another assist many or 2. If you can dump Anthony for a stud point guard, I would do it. See if you can bait anyone into taking Jason Richardson, like some child that thinks you get more fantasy points for dunking the ball. If you can get Ricky Davis that would be great, he is a fantasy stud. Parker is more of a scoring point guard, but may improve on that this year as the Spurs have more scoring options now.
Hang onto Anthony until he drops a huge game. People, especially younger player, will look at it as a sure sign of a breakout. Really, its just rookie inconsistancy. But wait until he has a huge game and then trade him. His value will be sky high. Use Anthony and Rasheed to land a big name star. That should net you one after Carmelo drops a big game, and assuming you are trading with someone who doesn't know much about fantasy basketball.
I haven't really played fantasy basketball in a few years so I have no idea whos been rackin up the points so name a few studs that i should try to go for
I don't think anybody wants to give up their big points guys because I have already posted a message to out league that I'm willing to trade Wallace but nobody has sent a quality offer my way.
I think i'm gonna hang onto Finley unless there is a blockbuster trade that is going to take place but i dont think Odom is a good deal for Finley

The mavs just got jamison so finley shots will go down as well as nash!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BAKAJ:</div><div class="quote_post">You should trade finley for odom!!! And trade harrington and posey for a big guy!!!</div> This is one guys advice that you should NEVER take by the way.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sportsrock37:</div><div class="quote_post">tmac, duncan, kg, kidd, stevie franchise, dirk to name a few</div> sportsrock, please be realistic, those are players that you DON'T trade.
I somewhat disagree with Odom being the number one guy because you have to take into consideration that the heat have Caron Butler who is a rising star you have Brian Grant who every once in a while will have a huge game there is Eddie Jones who is a proven scorer in the league you also have Dwyane Wade who i think is going to have a good year as a Rookie.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dont listen to KingJames. Who is better Finley or Odom????Odom is better fantasy wise.</div> You always go by what the team needs, not necessarily by who is ranked higher. <font color="Red">Clean up your act</font>, or you won't be posting in this forum much longer.
I just don't see Odom doing big things. Yeah Finley is on a team that is full on scores but he is still getting his points so I not worried about that. Finley has proved himself already and I don't think Odom has.
