The Grizzlies will play Magic today at 8 Eastern. Which player will be the star of the game? Mike Miller, Drew Gooden, or Gordan Giricek?

    I will go with Miller.

You should have provided more options. I believe that the star of the game will be Juwon Howard. McGrady probably won't get enough burn to be considered the star of the game. If you were asking which of the players involved in last season's trade will have the best game then my answer to you is Ryan Humphrey. He will get a lot of playing time because the Grizzlie's upper management is giving serious thought to giving him considerable minutes during the regular season, and they need to evaluate him more to make a better decision.

Here is the Recap of the game.

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 17 (Ticker) -- Pau Gasol scored 26 points on 11-of-16 shooting to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to an 84-65 preseason victory over the cold-shooting Orlando Magic.

The game marked the return of Orlando forward Drew Gooden and guard Gordan Giricek to the Pyramid. Gooden was drafted fourth overall by Memphis in 2002 and played 51 games with the Grizzlies before being traded with Gordan Giricek to Orlando for Mike Miller, Ryan Humphrey and two picks.

Gooden scored six points in 21 minutes and Giricek made one 3-pointer.

Juwan Howard scored 11 points to lead Orlando, which managed eight points in the third quarter on 25 percent shooting (3-of-12). Magic star Tracy McGrady finished with nine points.

Miller, one of McGrady's best friends, contributed seven points and five assists for Memphis. Jason Williams dished out seven assists.

Grizzlies rookie Dahntay Jones turned in a decent effort with eight points in 22 minutes. Fellow first-round pick Troy Bell played five scoreless minutes.
