The mavs won't have a problem scoring, if somebody is on an "off-night" they've got plenty of options. However one thing people have to realize is that theres only one ball on the court, I really don't think they'll be scoring that much more, they'll just have more options, and an even weaker defence.
They said the same thing with Van Exel Franchise, but playing for Dallas is a players dream, I know it would be mine. If you can't play for Dallas and enjoy it, where can you play? They will share the rock and ejoy winning.
Wow, they got Walker. He's gonna be as obsolete as as Jamison will be. What you people need to realize is that now, they've went, within 2 months, of having 3 huge egos, to 4, and now to 5. All 5 of these players are used to scoring in large amounts. And, somehow, you have to manage to figure out that you'r not gonna be able to score. I don't see how they're gonna do it. There is going to be a lot of chemistry problems for one reason. Well, two actually. First, they're gonna have to figure out the scoring thing. All 5 of them won't be getting all the touches their used to. And the second is CHEMISTRY. You people who said that the Lakers will have problems, well, if they have problems with multiple veterans on that squad, seasoned veterans that, the Mavs will have 10 times as many. None of the 5 starters they have are seasoned veterans. The Lakers have 3 in that line up. They at least realize that they can't do as much scoring wise as what they're used to. I don't think the Mavs will be able see this. They're all young, like, 27 and under for the most part. That's youth and with youth comes huge egos. They're gonna have a lot of problems with 5 huge, young egos in one lineup. Trade was good, but, because of the Lakers veteran leadership AND the ability to play DEFENSE, which wins championships, the Lakers still win it all.
Already had 3 huge egos? wtf are you talkin' about? This is not Rodman, Iverson, and Rider we are talking about.

Right, so you're saying that their 3 superstars had no ego. Bull. Every player has an ego problem. There isn't a player without one. And they now have 5 fairly large ones in one lineup. It's gonna be hard to work with it.

That was a simply amazing trade. Dallas now has a star at every single position on the floor and two of the NBA's best backups as well. Forget the Lakers! Mavericks for 2004 Champs!

I'm all over this trade. Raef become more likeable to me because he is now off the Mavs and Antoine Walker will fit right in with the all 3 point tries that will be going.
