After missing three games because of a bruised left heel, O'Neal told coach Phil Jackson he was ready to play just a few minutes before tipoff. "I said it would be nice if I had someone to go with, and he suited up," Lakers teammate Karl Malone said. "Even though it's a preseason game, that meant a lot to me. "Now, we're looking forward to getting Kobe in the mix next." Good to see him back. I don't think the free-throw problem will be a big deal. He just had a bad night; he will bounce back as always..
I'm also glad to see that he is back. I want to see what they can do as a team this year. I'm also glad to see that he is still a horrible free throw shooter.
