if you haven't heard already, walker was traded to the mavs..for raef and some others....full story ... that means pierce will have to uphold the team by himself... it looks good for paul and more points.. but maybe no chance at playoffs?? i feel bad for paul coz i love him to death nd want him to have a really successful career...and it's not like the celts had anybody good to start with..it was basically just pierce and walker..nd now just pierce
Pierce needs someone with him. I don't know if they can make the playoffs this year, it's going to be a challenge. What is Ainge thinking?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">How many threads will we have for this trade? lol</div> Its not directly bout the trade, its more bout the celt's chances to make the playoffs etc. etc. BTW, Celtics wont make the playoffs
yeah...it stinks.. thats what i thought..no playoffs..but even wit vin nd raef i dont think its possible
i mentioned that in the other thread ...their practically the two best buds in the L that are allstar players....and i bet their both sad right now awhhh
I still think they will make the playoffs, probably a 7 or 8 seed. But the way everyone on this site talked about walker I'm surprised they don't think the celtics got the better end of this trade. Only Olskool and I defended Toine and almost everyone said he hurt more than helped the Celtics, but now that he's gone they won't make the playoffs? Anyway there aren't many good teams in the East. let's see: New Jersey Detroit Indianna Orlando New Orleans Philadelphia And that's about it. The Bulls won three games on the road last year, the Raptors aren't scaring anyone, they're more one dimensional than the Celtics will be this year. I also think Raef can be a Brad Miller like player in the east. Then they can have Battie off the bench and be a pretty deep team. And Jiri welsch is supposedly on the verge of breaking out and could be a good three point threat.
