They just signed him to a one year deal. Will be interesting to see if he makes the team or if he ends up on the practice squad.

He's going to be on the practice squad. Here is what the StarTribune is reporting:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Tice said Lesnar might not join team drills until the end of the first week of camp. "We're not going to throw him to the wolves and we're not going to embarrass him," Tice said.</div>

What is amazing though is for his size he is extremely fast. He ran a 4.75 AFTER he sustained a groin injury. If he can get himself into the mental mindset quickly enough, I can see him playing next year and being decent as a defensive lineman.

He's got to be better than Chris Hovan. I think he's the most overrated defensive lineman in the history of the NFL.

He hasn't put up the numbers recently, although he is also the most disruptive force on the line. He lead the team in QB hurries last season. It also doesn't help that he is playing with a secondary that rolls out the red carpet for opposing receivers which allows the QB to release the ball a bit faster.

If he doesn't put up numbers this year I will be agreeing with you completely.

Hovan is underrated....that guy is as disruptive a player as there is in the NFL....if he was a end, he might avg 12 sacks a year....

Brock lesner wont make the team. He hasnt played any football since his highschool days. The nfl level you must be that much better then the players that were drafted out of college. College is a huge step from football in hs. As for the nfl, its the best of the best making the teams. Like the viking coaches said.. brock is a huge project to even make the team. Because he signed doesnt mean he will make the team. If anything he will make the practice squad and maybe with time move up eventually.

The Cards should have worked him out and signed him. Might improve their attendance, if nothing else.

haha this year he'll be a practice squad guy, that everyone will be afraid of, then maybe next year, but i think if he plays a lot this year i might have to be a disgrace to the NFL

Brock lesnar will make the team. He could have played football in college but chose wrestling. He is very inteligent and picks up things quicker than most individuals. Playing d line is probly the easiest position to learn at any level including the nfl. It isnt like he is jumping in aat QB or corner back. He is already faster and quicker than 90 percent of the dlinemen in the league. Upper stregth may need to increase some but lower body is among the best he squats near 700 lbs. Best squat in the league is chris samuels 785. I see him making the team and at least having 3 sacks this year.
