Dale, black, beef, im hearing reports that the phins are talking about getting o smith from minn and they are also interested in davenport in greenbay. They may want davenport to split carrys with minor. Something alot of teams are doing today.

Also edgrin james has made it public he wouldnt mind being traded to miami where he played and lives. We all know indy wont do it but we do know that edge will be a unrestricted free agent next season.

I dont think miami needs a huge deal to compete in this league with there defense.
Maybe stacy mack or james stewart can help out minor. Eithier way chambers and boston stock went up.

You are hearing the same deals im hearing about....They all seem to involve Ogunleye too....Ive heard Ogunleye to:

    Minnesota for O. Smith and a 2nd
Green Bay for N. Davenport and a 2nd
    Chicago for A. Thomas and a 3rd
Kansas City for L. Johnson and a 2nd and 4th
    Indianapolis for E. James

Who knows if any of these deals are real, but they are getting a lot of time on local radio....

Heres my scenario:Ogunleye a #2 and the rights to Ricky to the Chargers for Tomlinson....assuming Ricky would be willing to come back and play in his home town....he has expressed displeasure with Miami and the offense in the past few days, maybe this is a ploy to get out of town...if it is, I would make this trade if the Chargers would do it....

I didn't think O Smith was for sale... but I guess if the price is right... I wouldn't mind that trade as a vikes fan, Ogunleye and a 2nd round pick for O Smith.

The reason I didn't think he was for sale is because on Bennett, who is still a question mark. I think the Vikes will keep O Smith as insurance to Bennett.

I would be all about that trade as well...let's see, then we would have a front line of Udeze, Hovan, Williams and Ogunleye. Not too shabby.

If your D still folded like an acordian with that frontline then personally I would just rename you the Minnesota Redsox.
