Much like Jason Taylor, I had no problems with Ricky retiring initially but the latest revelation that he knowingly smoked some happy grass to purposefully fail a drug test is wrong. I don't care how unhappy you are. What Ricky did was wrong - plain & simple. I think I can speak for beef & dale. When I say, he better stay is Asia & pray the Dwo doesn't get jobs w/ the DEA in which we'd make it our mission to hunt his sorry ass down.
I was right about the drug thing... he was tested a third time and would have failed... what a call...
Yeah, it must be hard to see such an elite RB to take this path. Especially so young. But what can you do, you know. He has always played 110% on the field, but off the field he has always been a big ? for everyone. Shit, he told Haslett he wanted to retire and play baseball. Which he was'nt the best at (Charlie Ward) wannabe. Anyway, I think the Dolphins will have a task ahead of them, but they should do fine. This team is a coin flip for me.

huh??howd i get into it? i think thats a classless irresponsible disrespectful to do it on purpose, plan and not tell any1. AT first i was cool withit cuz he led me to believe it was a sudden decision, but to know he planned it, and didnt have the courtesy to tell any1, thats flat out wrong to every1 that bust their ass for 2adays and have less to shoot for withhim not there. Steven Jackson, Chris Perry and Kevin Jones were all on the board... and oyea, i think he was drafted by the phillies at one point
as I understand the rules, because he is in the drup program and filed his retirement papers, if he attemps to come back within a year, it counts as a failed drup test, which would be #4, requiring a 1 year suspension....so there is no way he suits up for atleast a year....Ive been through many stages of emotion sine Ricky left....starting with shock, then awe, then anger, then angrier, then angriest, now relief....im glad hes off the team, good bye to a selfish although talented prick...
At least retirement gives the Dolphins some salary cap relief. It could be worse...I guess. You're right, Beef. "Selfish prick." What ever happened to Ricky Watters? I wonder if he still has a phone?
