Hate all you want, ive been a raps fan since the beginning and IMO VC is the most overrated player in the game today. Yes VC can score, Yes VC can dunk, but VC cannot defend, does not drive to the hole like he used to, does not possess the mental toughness to play with nagging injuries, and is not a leader. Yes VC has had his share of injuries, but when has that stopped AI, or TMAC or KOBE from playing? When T-Mac signed with Orlando, I knew right away he was gonna blow up and be a better all round player than VC ever will be. Dont get me wrong, I love watchin VC play, but half the time he is on the perimiter taking jump shots when he SHOULD be driving to the lane ala KOBE, TMAC, AI Paul Pierce etc. I would trade VC straight up for Pierce or Marion, in a heartbeat. G-Unit...get your **** straight man. When Vince was hurt, he was LEGITAMENTLY HURT. He strained his patellar tendon in is knee. With that type of injury, no-one can play through it, i don't care who you are. Before he got hurt in 2001 he was averaging 28 ppg, 6 reb, 4 asst,1.7 stl and 1.1 blk. For the first time, he's truly healthy once again and his play as of yet has been impressive. I hope you saw his blocks, steals and rebounds last night against chicago; impressive to say the least.

You haven't been watching preseason, because KO has constantly been on Vinces back for his defense, and hes playing well defensively. Since I've seen him play his game hasn't changed that much, he still shoots mid to high 40s in %, and partly because hes been driving to the lane. Guess what, remember when Vince had a record for most threes in a game, before Ray Allen and Kobe beat it? Why wouldn't you want him taking jump shots, Kobe, TMac, and AI all take more jumpshots. I guess you didn't know coaches have designed plays, Lenny never told Vince to ALWAYS drive, the plays are drawn up, and he follows them. Get your facts straight...

Nobody can say that Vince is a leader though, I'll give you guys everything else you defended him with.
this is stupid.... VC has improved his hame this off-season... Now he's starting to drive more, plus he is playing a better style of defence thanks to Kevin O'Neill.
I will wait till I see Vince play a good part of an NBA season before I judge him as overrated/underrated. The fact of the matter is that he hasnt been healthy in the past few years, so its hard to make an educated opinion on this.

Tmac and Vince are both bad leaders, hopefully they are working on that. Vince isnt overrated because you can't judge an injured player. When he was healthy, he was an overrated defender and its a joke to hear people calling him a shot blocker.
No way that you can say VC is as good as T-Mac. I do like Vince though. He was clutch for them in the playoffs. He has a nice J and is an explosive player. If he works on his D, there ain't no way you can say he is overrated.
Saying Vince is overrated isn't as stupid as you think. Raptor fans every year say, "This is Vince's comback year." "He's going to be an all-star," "This is when he is going to breakout." The Raptor fans overrate him so much it really is sickening.
Maybe, but usually those things don't happen because of injury. So we really don't know if those comments are overrated
You guys just dont see him play on a daily basis. Maybe he is not the MOST overrated player, but he is the SOFTEST. On offense he would take a jumper in the lane, land on someones foot or bang knees, on defense, he would be limping and grimacing, as soon as the raps take possession of the ball, by some MIRACLE he is able to dribble and take a 3 pointer, oh wait, now he is on Defence, he has to start limping again.
Dont get me wrong, VC is one of my favorite players (I love the Raps), he is top 10 players offensively when healthy, but injuries, specifically playing through injuries is what makes a player great. VC overall is not top 10, let alone top 20.
