Kobe is on fire! Talk about coming back with a vengence..

4/8, 13 pts. at the half I believe? Not to mention that nice lob to Shaq for the dunk. He looks comfortable, and I just want him to feel at home so he re-signs this offseason..
Not too bad of a game so far. Go and get em in the 2nd half KB8! [IMG]

Well, he (the whole team) died down in the second half, but he played a whole lot better (and the team as a whole) than I envisioned.

Some REAL flashes of brilliance, it was gorgeous.

Definately will be different on the road. But hell, Lakers are used to being booed, especially Kobe.

Airball free throws in Utah anyone? (He did get them chanting MVP last season though...)

Or MVP of the all star game in philly met with a boo?

    He's used to it.

I'd say he was playing around 70% right now...which actually isn't that bad because GP & Malone are there to pick up the slack. It was exciting as hell to see the Lakers run the floor with Kobe on the court...can't wait for him to be 100%.

One thing I did notice though was his lockdown defense wasn't there, which is understandable because D requires so much energy. But then again hey, its only his first preseason game.

The team is doing ok, but worst then I had expected. The thing is is that Bryant and Shaq are willing to share the court with Malone and Payton and even say they wanna work with theese guys so they can win a title, but once they get out there on the court, Bryant and ONeal want their court back. Im expecting it to get better so they can work together.

Who gives, Lakers always do bad during the preseason.

All the fans seem to have Kobe's back, it's really good to see that.

Kobe's lack of conditioning/practice really showed against the Kings last night. There were so many times when he had the ball on the wing and his explosive first step just wasn't there. But hey, its only preseason.
