<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">"It was an atmosphere on edge," Abe Pollin explained in his first in-depth interview since dismissing Jordan five months ago. "It was not a healthy atmosphere to produce a happy organization or a winning team."

Given Jordan's lack of success in Washington, the actual decision to get rid of him didn't prove as unpopular as the means.</div>

its true, jordan didnt give any of the younger guys confidence, he always broke them down when they did something wrong especially kwame, jordan and collins did not understad he wasnt mature yet, i think he would of been better off going to college for atleast a year, but hey it was his decision....and i still got major love for MJ

Yeah your right, especially in the press conference after the game when he dived for the ball and hurt his chin, he really critisized the younger players for not giving any "effort".

The MJ/Wiz situation reminds me a lot of me and the relationship I have with many posters here.

well .. I watched that game against the Knicks !!
MJ scored 39 points I think and the wizards still couldn't win !!!
he was doing everything ... and I mean everything .. and the others ( Dixon + Hughes + Kwame ) couldn't even run the plays right ...

and I think it was very honest statement when he said ... : " It's sad to see a 40 year old man ... runs and gives effort more than the 20 + year old players "

No, bashing your teamates is no way to make your team win, especially publically, if you have an issue with your team, you talk to them alone, you don't tell the cameras they're doing bad.
