for 15 bucks, it was cheaper than i thought, i beat the giants on opening day 14-7, by far more realistic than madden, but the only problem is moving the players, thats what sucks. once i get used to the controls, its lights out.

the one thing i need help with, is throwing the ball. i seem to overthrow or lead to much, any1 know how to do that?

i give it 2thumbs up, i may not by madden now,

Dawk, one thing when you pass i notice. You cannot throw off your back foot. Especially on a scramble or a short pass to the rb on a screen. Which is realistic. Yes 2k5 is a matter of getting use to the game play, especially if you are use to madden.

Try out the bucs at tampa or det at ford field. Or atleast try to play them at there house. It looks like the real deal.

You can pass off your back foot with strong armed QBs like Collins or some1 along those lines. Cant hang around the pocket too long with slow QBs either, or else...WHACK

i also fig. out the longer you hold the button the harder its thrown, it becomes a bullett pass, a tap is a lob like in madden.

now i figured it out, its way way way better than madden, eventhe crib is better than madden cards, and the franchise is better so far. I havent made it to the offseason yet, but i bet its good. not all that madden crap with dealing with "unhappy WR" and "selling tickets" and new "create a fan" all that crap takes away from the game.

Bucs, how do you like the firstperson view? I absolutely love it for running the ball and playing in the front 7 on D, but i cant use it for the qb and DBs.

Bucs its not about getting use to the game play.....that only took a second cus it is Terrible. The game is a joke and all the little things they put in the game got old in a hurry. Defense is WAY to easy. You can pass rush at will and not be stopped. I had 9 sacks with a back up CB in one game and probably could have had more. I have not been scored on in rookie or pro and by then I was just sick of it. I'm sure Madden will be as acurate on the stadiums. Dawk as for what you said about the unhappy WR and stuff like that taking away from the game what do you think the stupid MTV Cribs bullshit or the Sportcenters between each week or preparing for the week or all the different create a fans they made for you do???? add up to ESPN shitty game play 2k5

Did I mention Mike Vick runs like he has a shit in pants?

I'm glad I bought it though just to make me feel that much better about the up coming madden and I'll just sell it back for like 15 dollars when I get madden so Its like renting it for a month anyway.

the game preperation is alot better than having to please a WR, the cribs is stupid i agree, but its still better than madden cards. the sportscenter thing is cool i guess, ive only seen it once, but u can skip that, if u skip "team issues" you blow your season/

I'd rather have to keep a bad attitude in check than set up everyday of the week everytime you use a new season. Kind of boring after a few times of doing it. I don't use Madden Cards and could care less about them so they don't bother me and the cribs thing is basicly on that level as well. I wouldn't even mess with it. I bought it last friday and was sick of it by sunday...I don't know its just not that good of game IMO and I've played a shit load of games. It's not like I played one game and just hated it...I actually thought it was cool when I started but was sick of it once I really played it.
