With everyone bad mouthing the heats front line, i went back and looked up grants stats for 02.. First off he started all 82 games.. shot 51% from the floor and 78% from the line averaged 10.21 boards a game and 10.3 points These are respectable numbers.. to average a double double.. yea hes not worth the money hes getting paid.. However i think people need to give him a little more credit.. Comments??
I agree. People see his huge contract and don't pay attention to his game (same goes for Allan Houston). You also have to give him credit for playing so well out of position. He's not a center, but since the East is so weak, the Heat can get away with throwing him in at center.

Same goes for Antionio Davis. 14 and 8 and people just look at his contract. Jerome Williams put up 10 and 9 and makes around 5 million and people say hes overpayed.
Grant earned that contract when he out played Karl Malone in that Blazer/Jazz playoff series. I'll never forget the way he got in karl's face and refused to step down to him and his cheap shots. However, Grant has never played like that again.
