West will get him no question
How funny would it be if Kobe opts out and he signs for Spurs...That would be freaky... About Memphis..how much can they offer him? Kobe if he does leave L.A will want to go to the east I would imagine...Afterall it is a much weaker conference...So he has a better chance to be a success and win games.
There have been no signs that will happen anytime soon...If that was the plan the NBA would of said so when they anounced the Hornets were moving to the west.
Yes there was, I believe you were on vacation. I posted the article, and the talk was 2005 if I am correct. I believe the teams most talked about were the Bobcats in the East, while NO would go West. Memphis to me and many others however, and an East team. I just nosed through this forum..but was unable to find it, but it is in here.
The lakers have no chance at all if kobe isnt healthy.. How in the world is fisher or rush going to be able to guard anyone or score like kobe?? Kobe is the most Dynamic 2 guard in the west and maybe in the nba.. if the lakers dont have him, they will get worked..

Kevin Garnett also based his decision partly in because the T'Wolves jerseys were very appealing to him. The Lakers still DO have a chance without Kobe, it greatly effects their chances. But it would mean Payton and Malone would get even more shots, and I think they would have no problem with that. Payton is still capable of 20 pts and game and Malone himself could get 18-20 with enough shots. Noone better twist what I say, read it in its entirety if you want to respond to it.

Bye J-Rich, Hello Kobe!
Los Angeles does not need this right now, if they want to win games, they have to maintain professional and not call each other out. I really have not seen any wrongdoings by Kobe on the court. If you Laker fans would like to fill me in, then feel free to. Wasn't Shaq the one not playing good basketball last year, and then he blames it on his teammates, where have we seen this before. Plus he also made the comment about Karl and Gary coming there because of him, yeah right. Shaq could not have won those three rings without Kobe, I hate it when players think they are God or something. It is rather disgusting. ObieCent that was just about the stupidest post ever. How does ones decision come upon the attractiveness of a uniform. I just don't get it.
i agree with you totally on that sasha, shaq wouldnt of won them without kobe, and vice versa, kobe and karl didnt come their because of shaq, because they want a ring to finish their career of, shaq might of talked them into it but it wasnt because of him
You guys are falling right into this. This is an obvious diversion from the Kobe Rape Trial. Staged by the man with blood on his shirt. They would rather have us talking about Kobe and Shaq arguing than Kobe struggling to fit his one inch into an unwilling little girl. Anyway, if Kobe is going anywhere it will be through Free Agency next year and it will most likely be to Memphis.
Hell no this isn't a diversion. Kobe was talking about opting out before this whole rape trial. Shaq got fed up with it and is acting like a kid. Ain't no one that smart.
Kobe just said this in an interview with Jim gray "since it's your team no more coming to camp out of shape." "Leaders don't beg for a contract extension through the media." Are you ready to play? "My knee is not strong enough to play yet and I know it." "I will not play until I'm ready, probably won't play tomorrow night." "If leaving the Lakers is what I do a large part of that will be because of Shaq's child like jealousy." "I haven't heard anything (words of support) at all from my big brother (Shaq)." I asked Phil to step in and say something to Shaq on my behalf but he didn't do it." "I asked Mitch and Phil to try to calm the situation" "Shaq's not my big brother. I talked to everyone from the Lakers, players, managment, coaches, ownership and they all lent me their support during the offseason. Even opponents like Maggette and Webber, Tiger Woods and MJ who didn't even have my home number. But not Shaq" This is getting good and funny..the meltdown starting early? *waits for Shaq to reply to Kobe's quotes*
you forgot the most important qoute." Even shaqs uncle gave me a call" "and i wont miss 15 games due to a little toe injury that everyone knows isnt that serious" this thread, or the one in the laker forum should be closed because they have the same topic ideas
I love the quote about shaq sittin out so long for a little toe injury.. Kobe is a competitor and hes proven that a la jordan.. Kobe led the playoffs in scoring with a sep shoulder and a ****** up knee!! and he never complained
i like how kobe pointed the toe injury out, yea its ok if shaq says it was killing him once or twice, but after everyggame i thnk we get the point
YO, how are you guys doin, i read somewhere (not sure where tho) that memphis would be hesitant to sign kobe because of how the city would view the whole rape charge. Memphis has a large population of conservative white folk and they might not recieve him very well, even if he is aquitted. I think kobe is better off moving to a larger market like ny. I hope he stays in l.a. tho.

Shaq & Kobe I personally hate Shaq. Intellectually I think all he could ever do is play basketball. However, I can say that Kobe Bryant should keep his mouth shut for more than one reason. One, he shouldn't openly express agression to the media while this case is going on. And another, I would hate to be Shaq's enemy. Kobe can work out all he wants, Shaq would crush him. And Shaq would have a better chance of getting away with it than an accussed rapist. The Lakers are Shaq's team. Also, I highly doubt Kobe would ever end up in Memphis. Its going to be a while before the Grizzlies ever become an attractive destination for any top of the line franchise players.
